The biggest culture shock is going to be the mixing of the different driving styles. The Japanese are respectful but tough racers, the Germans on the other hand do a lot of hip and shoulder. So im expecting a lot of pentalties during the joint races. I could be wrong but watching the previous series' seasons, im going off of given information.

that's called a "Pitot Tube" and is to measure the airspeed. I assume that to compare and verify between real and benchmark. can't wait to see what the new liveries they have come up with!
Very low and very back into the hood. These gt500 cars have their engines so low in the chassis that the first thing you see is the duct work for the hood ducts.
Yep, engine is pretty quiet when you can here the drive train over the engine. Pretty much all race cars have straight cut gears in the tranny now days I think.
Lets see if the GTRs will be required to carry over 100kgs of handicap ballast plus fuel flow restrictors again to allow the hondas and the new supra a chance to win something.
I remember in the past the gen 2 nsx got the same treatment. They were the cars the organisers had their eyes to dial back because it's displacement was superior. And they succeeded. Unlike now where the DTM style fr body tends to struggle to find chemistry with the mid engined layout. Honda have improved over the last 7 years since but the GT-R's like you say are quite awesome

However its the GTR that has vertually dominated by simply winning more titles than any other car in Japanese motorsport history. I guess thats why the GTR is so heavily awarded handicap weights,air restrictors and fuel flow restrictors. Thats BOP I guess. Im not a fan of it but I understand. Without BOP there would only be GTRs on the podium in every race.

@@TienTran-kw3il sorry to my english grammar. i'm not good enough in english. but i will try. back to the topic, us far us i know, since 2017, the engine rules in gt500 must be 2.0 turbo. all three manufacturer,toyota,honda and nissan they,re use 2.0L turbo. in gt300 is another story. there is no restriction in displacement and number of cylinder. but, in terms of weight and horse power,they have. i don't know what is the minimum weight. in horse power i think 450hp max. for example, toyota prius. they used LMP1 3.5L V8 engine plus electric motor. and put in the middle. a mid engine prius. even gt86 are V8. subaru brz,they used ej20 rally engine, and some car are stock or original engine like lambo, ferrari,bentley,porsche, and etc.

特にLC500は通り過ぎて随分経ってもヒュ～～～って音が聞こえてました
