I like grilled zucchini squash with peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes so I will have to try the patty pans. Should be good. Personally, I like to douse a little olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a few drops of soy sauce on my veggies when grilling them. Great summer time eating for sure!
Love the cooking videos . This way a person has an idea of what seeds to order because now you know how to cook the harvest once it's ready . No use in growing something if you don't know how to cook it . Great video.
Appreciate you showing how to cook up things! That is why we are here... I just watch videos on rhubarb pie.... sounds good... gotta love a big old flat top griddle
Looks like i need to plant me some patty pan squash next year. Thanks Unless there us still time fir this year if i can find the seeds i will plant some this month.
Still plenty of time to get another crop of summer squash planted. Here's a link to our seeds: hosstools.com/product-category/premium-garden-seeds/summer-squash/
Try it with some Italian Spice on top. I like to buy those dried spice packets for "make your own salad dressing" and just sprinkle a bit of the unmixed dry Italian powder over top like you're salting it. Don't make the dressing, just use the powder.

I had this for my dinner last night and it was delicious! I had some left over pork loin i added instead of bacon. So good like a stir fry!

Wow, never heard of the paddy pan squash. But they look good, like the griddle. Thanks God bless.
They have a nuttier flavor and better texture than regular summer squash -- a great addition to any garden!

Love the Blue Rhino. Did quite a bit of research on several different brands before going with this one. Definitely made the right choice.

We are going to have a lot of squash so this recipe will get tried as soon as the squash are ready to eat.
Anything that has bacon has got to be good.
Everything is better with bacon!
Which griddle is this? I’ve been looking at getting one.
I got the Blue Rhino one and love it!

I like to use Conecuh sausage instead of bacon sometimes. 👍

It's all gone now!
Well dang. Next time I’m that way to Moultrie I’ll swing by for some squash and onions.
Now that's some fine eating
It WAS some fine eating!
What makes them taste bitter?
Usually water deprivation or stressed plants can make the fruits bitter.
Hey Hoss! Do you think I would be raping your recipe too much, if I added a grilled fresh tomato in the mix?
Not at all. Sounds like a great idea!
With a pinch of thyme and canned or fresh tomatoes, your squash recipe with be even more speck- tacular.
A red hat... where ya get that? Lol
We've got red and camo hats now on the site.
@@gardeningwithhoss go ahead!
The way you're holding on to the ingredient while cutting them make me feel nervous! Squash look good though.
Haha. No fingers were harmed in the filming of this video.
Even a shoe is going to taste great if you ad bacon.
Bacon makes everything better.
You look in the end like you acted up at lunch in school and was made to sit outside and eat from the looks of the building speaking from experience.
