best to you, paul. taking care of the cancer is more important than any short term training goal. you know how to intelligently train around such obstacles, thanks for sharing your expertise with us.
Hoping for a speedy recovery Coach ! How long do you have to stay out of inversion ? how long will it take before the tissue recovers ? I'm thinking of cutting out a Cyst from my hip but it's not necessarily fatal, just hurts when I press on it and had it for ages and now it's starting to affect my training since it's on a spot I need to foam roll... and it hurts... is it worth removing for the amount of time it'll take to recover ? Always appreciate the content ! Hoping to see you on your hands again soon xD
I’ve started back with some light (intensity) handstands. I have the stitches out on Wednesday which will be day 10 since surgery. The location of my cut doesn’t seem to pull when inverted but I’m going to take it slow to add the strength work back in. Hard to say with your hip as I’m sure everyone is different both in the surgery, how the body recovers and also how intense the training is. But listen to your body and compensate/adjust everything as needed, there is always something you can work on
