    Thank you for a wonderful educational video's. My question is: when you keep your eyes on the bird and following, are your eyes fixed in the center and the head is moving??

    Excellent and so true! Watch that bird, you will miss. See that bird & shoot - easier said than done & breaking a bad habit of watching too long, even for a split second - miss every time. Sometimes I just can't find my unconscious brain but when I do, I'm on a roll!

    What are your thoughts on shot gun shooting with one eye closed or both eyes open?

    • @BlueonGoldZ
      @BlueonGoldZ 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      He probably wouldn't recommend it especially if you're dominant eye is on the same side as the side your gun is mounted (right-eyed and right handed/ left-eyed and left handed). I'm cross-dominant (left-eyed and right handed) and for years, I read that I was handicapped and I shot like I do with a rifle with one eye closed. Probably had about 40% accuracy or less. About 2 weeks ago,I went clay shooting and decided to try the whole session with both eyes open and despite my dominance issue, I broke 33/50 clays. I'm very excited and want to practice more.

    I am left handed and right eye dominant. I put tape on my glasses covering the view of my dominant eye. works just fine.

    This is works great!! Once went to a shooting-range, and could subconsciously project in front of my targets. Hitting all 5 present instructors dead in the chest. 10/10 would recommend!

    You're maybe trying to hard. Hang up the gun for a few weeks and do something else. Also if you're doing long strings without taking a break that'll throw you off, you may be flinching and not know it.
