Every single Darkstalkers game (including the ones that didn't make it into the West until now), Red Earth, Cyberbots, Super Gem Fighter, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Hyper Street Fighter II. Now THIS is an all-star fighting game collection! The only thing this collection is missing is Rival Schools, but considering the awesome lineup we have here I'm more than willing to let that slide. Now I have yet another reason to look forward to June along with Mario Strikers: Battle League and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes!
I will still contend that this should’ve happened as early as the GameCube era. IIRC CvS2 was literally the ONLY thing they brought over since SSF2 released on SNES.
2:22 = Rollback Netcode is music to Max Dood's ears😉 Capcom FINALLY remembering Darkstalkers gives me hope that in the near future we may yet see a brand new game in the series after all. 🤞COME ON CAPCOM, GIVE US AN ALL-NEW DARKSTALKERS GAME SOONER RATHER THAN LATER🤞 Red Earth is hugely underrated, happy to see it's finally getting a console release after all this time. Also happy to see the Puzzle Fighter games featured in this collection as well. Why didn't Capcom just add Hyper Street Fighter 2 to the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection??? The only game in this collection that I don't really care about is Cyberbots. Instead of Cyberbots, why couldn't Capcom have added instead the likes of either Power Stone or any of their Marvel fighting games or Capcom vs SNK??? Heck I wouldn't have minded Tatsunoko vs Capcom either.
This is automatically better than Darkstalkers Resurrection because you can play as Dee in this one. Just press select 9 times while hovering over random, then any attack button. This only works in vampire hunter/savior 2.

There's already a solid Street Fighter collection on the Switch so it would have been nice if they had done say the EX games which have basically gone forgotten.
Those aren’t CPS2/3 games. They’re PS1/DC/Naomi arcade hardware titles. They would probably need a source code port, and will never be as economical to make as this.
THIS is how you make a collection, half of the darkstalkers games are here, obscure ones are here, the best street fighter II is here, and online play+training mode for those games that have it. also the save point being shown through akuma shows that they know how bullsh**t it was and still is... gotta love dedication when given

@@Acehighwind89 Well, Marvel people are saying they're pissed because MVC3 didnt' do well and got outshined by Injustice....some speculate this is one reason besides licensing issues but still, they had to know fans would want those games in a collection at some point. And As for AVP I don't see how there could be any beef with those movie studios they've ported literally every other beat em up except that game on their previous collection...I may have to just hack the game onto my other SNES mini since you can do that, I don't want to but looks like Capcom's giving me no choice. Or I emulate it on my PC which also don't want to do. As far as money, I disagree there it's Marvel and AVP, two popular franchises in general they'd make bank if they did re-release them all with online play.
They can't.... They have to renegotiate a license and last time they tried, it fell through. That was when 20th Century Fox owned it... now its Disney... which might be a good thing as Disney did allow Marvel vs Capcom but we have no idea what the inner details are and its probably complicated. Interesting NECA has the toy rights.

I wanted marvel vs Capcom so bad😔
Finally I get to try Red Earth and Darksiders instead of watching play throughs..it looks so good!!! Thanks for this and Earthbound!
God I hope this is a big success and somehow leads to Darkstalkers 4! They finally put the FULL versions on modern consoles and I'm gonna buy it everywhere. I don't even care, just yes. I love Darkstalkers!
Well, this was a pleasant surprise. I'm a little disappointed we're not getting Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in here, but I'm going to get this solely for Darkstalkers.
never played darkstalkers and now I can finally get to play soon.
Maybe we’ll see a Marvel vs. Capcom collection soon.
I'd personally like to get a Switch port of Resident Evil 1-3 next, or even a Switch port of the remakes of 2 and 3 to go with the remake of 1 that's already on there.
@@Bauglir100it's better if they ported the remakes, because the remakes have more hype and the graphics is good
@@n124ajdx Hype and good graphics don’t make a better game. I have 1 on DS, 2 on Nintendo 64, and 3 on GameCube. They all play pretty well to me despite their age and dated gameplay.
But I would be fine with either or both trilogies on the Switch to go with the other Resident Evil games that are already on there.
Here's hoping to a volume 2 that has Rival Schools and Power Stone, etc.
Red Earth/Warzard finally getting a console release is long overdue.
Awesome to see Darkstalkers get some love ❤️
I love how the logo is a stick doing a Shoryuken
Wow, very subtle.
Love tht Cyberbots was included! If Rival Schools was added to this collection, it would be near perfection.
This is absolutely insane! The extras are amazing, killer job if it delivers everything it promises!!!
This is so weird and full of the unexpected packaged with known greats. Really makes me feel like anything is possible in the Switch
Agreed. If given the chance 👍
It's on PlayStation and Xbox too bro
@@nayyabmughal1123 Yeah, but more people own a Switch.
I pre-ordered my copy for Nintendo Switch. Bring on Darkstalkers 4, Capcom! Us fans WANT it!!
Everybody: They are finally adding Rollback Netcode!!
Me: POCKET FIGHTER!!!!
@@drowningin It's in the trailer
After all these years of waiting, we finally get to play the Darkstalkers games on a Nintendo console! ;D
I will still contend that this should’ve happened as early as the GameCube era. IIRC CvS2 was literally the ONLY thing they brought over since SSF2 released on SNES.
Please give us the MVC series and the Capcom vs SNK series. I would definitely buy them in a heartbeat
Is anyone gonna acknowledge that Darkstalkers is making it's first debout on a Nintendo console?
2:22 = Rollback Netcode is music to Max Dood's ears😉
Capcom FINALLY remembering Darkstalkers gives me hope that in the near future we may yet see a brand new game in the series after all. 🤞COME ON CAPCOM, GIVE US AN ALL-NEW DARKSTALKERS GAME SOONER RATHER THAN LATER🤞
Red Earth is hugely underrated, happy to see it's finally getting a console release after all this time.
Maybe Digital Eclipse was too scared so Capcom ported it IN HOUSE no less.
For like a half second I thought they were gonna tease Marvel vs Capcom… I would have cried but this is a pleasant surprise nonetheless
Same B lol. Tears of joy.
It really says something in more ways than one when _HALF_ of this collection is JUST ABOUT *THE **_ENTIRE_** DARKSTALKERS SERIES!!!*
It's 5 games. You'll live
That was honestly the entire point. The rest of the games are great bonuses.
Darkstalkers AND Red Earth?! Just take my money!
This is automatically better than Darkstalkers Resurrection because you can play as Dee in this one. Just press select 9 times while hovering over random, then any attack button. This only works in vampire hunter/savior 2.
Darkstalkers lives along with Red Earth, Cyberbots and Pocket Fighter!
Here after collection 2 is released
Hurray for a billionth Darkstalkers port! (jokes aside, this is still pretty awesome, I love Darkstalkers and I'm getting this for the Japan exclusive versions, and if this does well, we might even get a new game, so I'm still super stoked!)
2:23
Dang Darkstalkers really got rollback netcode before under night
I am so stoked for this! Darkstalkers is exciting but Red Earth too? Damn this is awesome!
There are SO many classic, fun, and underrated Capcom fighters from way back in the day. Like on the Dreamcast. Games like Tech Romancer and Power Stone. Would love to see those get some re-releases one day :(
Wow, I'd have paid for a Darkstalkers collection by itself but adding Puzzle Fighter and Gem Fighter is a welcome bonus. Never had a chance to play Cyberbots or Red Earth but they look solid. Looking forward to checking those out too.
Finally Darkstalkers again! I really hope this is a sign they’ll eventually get switch games alone too!
Yes yes yes Darkstalkers. My absolute favorite!
This would be prefect if we can combine the rosters of Vampire Hunter 2 and Savior 2 into one. We also need Resurrection back.
I might get this for my Switch, but I really want Nintendo to make Marvel vs Capcom available on the Switch.
There's already a solid Street Fighter collection on the Switch so it would have been nice if they had done say the EX games which have basically gone forgotten.
I can wait to play that game this year…. I’m hyped for it
Gives me hope for a compilation with XMCotA, MSH, XVSF, MSHVSF, MVC, MVC2, CVS, CVS2.
Next they need to give us MVC 1 & 2 collection lol
Darkstalkers, Red Earth, Puzzle Fighter... this might just be worth it.
THEY CALLED ME CRAZY WHEN I SAID CYBERBOTS WOULD GET A RE RELEASE!! FINALLY!!
Absolutely wasn't expecting to hear a remix of Hellstorm coming from Nintendo's channel of all things today, but it is definitely appreciated.
Capcom remembered Darkstalkers, that's nice. And we're getting Red Earth too? Sick!
Still no Star Gladiator or Rival Schools though.
Those aren’t CPS2/3 games. They’re PS1/DC/Naomi arcade hardware titles. They would probably need a source code port, and will never be as economical to make as this.
@@Darknight0681 I know, I just wish those games would get re-released already. Especially Rival Schools!
Power Stone for the modern consoles (even for newcomers to the game like myself) would be nice
All we need is the marvel vs Capcom collection
Finally Capcom is giving the gamers what they want!
THIS is how you make a collection, half of the darkstalkers games are here, obscure ones are here, the best street fighter II is here, and online play+training mode for those games that have it.
also the save point being shown through akuma shows that they know how bullsh**t it was and still is... gotta love dedication when given
Half? Try ALL of the Darkstalkers games.
I'm still astonished at the fact that Capcom releasing every game in their history between beat em up and fighting game collections...except AvP.. Capcom you guys just forget you made this game? Guessing issues with licenses or Capcom just don't care?🤷♂️
@@BeautifulMadeline I think they could try but probably don't want to(Capcom I mean) like you said NECA and these other toy companies get the rights but Capcom can't? Just sounds suspect but it's whatever, if Disney is just saying no then ok but Capcom hasn't exactly made the best business decisions the past 10 years at times so wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even try to re-negotiate it.
AvP is licensing issues.
@@Darknight0681 Yeah. Thats unfortunate.
Yes! Darkstalkers are alive and coming along with Red Earth!!
I’m in. I’m not even a huge fan of fighting games, but I am a huge fan of owning games that I’ll play a few seconds of every few months or so.
or never Again cause my brother gets games that he barely plays then leaves them to dust.
One day when my kid grows up, right before I take my last breath I will tell him about this glorious moment when Nintendo and capcom blessed us. That will be the moment he realized why I never lost my smile.
X-men vs Street Fighter please
Gem fighter looks like a treat.
Sweet! Street Fighter 4 next please
