Congratulations on your Fujifilm xt50 Tudor and yes I can attest to viltrox af 56/1.7 on my Nikon z50..for the price and size and results it would be hard to beat

Hello Tudor! Thank you for the review! Do you think Viltrox will offer more of these small f1.7 lenses for Fuji? Like a 23 or 35 mm? That would be awesome. Otherwise which set of 3 small lenses do you recommend for a light street-setup for X-T50?

How would you compare this Viltrox 56mm to the Viltrox 56 F1.4 on the X-T5 ?
Besides being smaller how would you rate the image quality and focus speed ? I have had issues with my 56 F1.4 coming across to my devices extremely over saturated vs. what I see on the LCD of the camera. I look forward to your response.

The 1.4 is softer and AF is worse. I don't have it anymore because I sold it. But the rendering was special. The f1.7 is sharper and the AF faster compared to the F1.4.
The title of the video says 57 mm but the lens is 56 mm.

It's so and so. The F1.7 is faster, lighter and sharper.

Yeah, 56mm on crop. Easy. You know what the holy grail is? Get real bokeh from a 35mm lens. Like my 6D with 35/1.4L. Problem: package is 580+750=1330 gram. No fun! So I want THAT kind of IQ+bokeh for half the weight. Regardless if it's crop, FF, MFT. Sony A7C with Samyang 35/1.8 comes close. Canon R8 with 35/1.8 comes close. Now tell me your crop options for this??? Sony A7C+Samyang 35/1.8 = 750 grams seems the champ so far. Leica killer.
The only crop options that I use it's the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 - I'm a big fan of how it renders. Also Fujifilm 23mm 1.4 is interesting.
