- A road trip from Poland to France on board my Citroën C6 3.0L V6 HDI Exclusive developing 240HP and equipped with the hydropneumatic suspensions.

I had the 2.2hdi and 3.0 Hdi, very nice to drive, the only problem was reliability. I did also 250 km/h with the 3.0 hdi, and did in total ca 160 000 km with both of them together, even up to Norway, many times from France to Prague, Milano, Amsterdam. Now I found other nice car, Jaguar XJ, and I brought it to France from...Poland, from Wroclaw
What kind of problems did you have? :)
I miss going on long road trips. This helps me live vicariously.
This car is so quiet in the interior
Beautiful car, also, polish highways are great for speed, I travel 160-180 km/h on cruise there normally:)

Wow! Great trip, I'd love to do something similar in my own Citroen. Can't think of many cars better for the journey, that 3.0l V6 is properly brilliant for the task.

Got c5 2.0hdi exlusive with hydro.
That engine sounds like tractor but its most reliable.
Love the car, wish for more suspension travel upfront and better sound insulation. And ofc 3.0v6 is the best ; love the car overall, also did trip through europe, from poland to spain and the other way, no issues during trip
J'ai ça depuis 10 ans. Cette voiture est magique, consommation inférieure à celle d'un SUV bien moins puissant, confort remarquable, aucun problème mécanique à plus de 200 000 km, moteur extrêmement agréable et puissant en V6 3 litres. Jamais je ne m'en séparerai. C'est la meilleure voiture que j'ai eue en 50 ans de conduite. Dommage que les français préfèrent enrichir les fabricants allemands pour des machins qui font, dit-on, plus rêver parce que leur marketing est bien fait. Entretien facile et assez économique parce que votre spécialiste PSA du coin (pour peu qu'il soit bien formé) sait tout faire à des tarifs horaires trois fois moins élevés que ceux des concessions pour allemandes.

Nice video. Beautiful car. I´ll do the long run again in April when we drive approximately 2200km to the South of Spain with our 2.7 C6. Can´t wait for it because it´s always such a pleasure to drive this car.

Salut, j'ai aussi une 3.0 hdi 240 depuis bientôt 2 ans, elle a à peine 60 000km. J'ai également été bluffé par la consommation vu le poids et la motorisation. C'est réellement la meilleure voiture que j'ai eu pour faire de la route. Ma précédente voiture était une bmw f31 330xd pack m, certes bien plus sportive mais moins agréable et moins confortable que la C6 sur longues distance. Dommage que tu n'ai pas montré le mode dark quant tu roulais de nuit. Je vais devoir bientôt m'en séparer pour acheter un utilitaire et ce sera la première voiture que je vends à contrecœur. D'habitude je vends mes voitures car j'en ai fait le tour et j'ai envie de passer a autre chose mais la C6, ça fait des années que je la voulais et j'aurais aimé la garder longtemps. La dernière grande Citroën, un futur collector.

People talk about cars being unreliable. Having driven 2 million miles in my lifetime I’ve seen every make of car broken down at the side of the road .

Great! I'm in the proccess of collecting some money and possibly buying a C6 in the upcoming year. Altough, I'm planning on getting a petrol V6. Any reccomendations?
I think the petrol V6 is not the best compromise between power, weight and fuel consumption, however it's the rarest and the most collectible model you can get !
@@Marcsauto Its not about being rare,but a lot more reliable and repairable. The HDI's are known for breaking their crankshafts, and the whole engine is totaled. While the petrol one, doesn't have such problems.

@@fredgien I agree, but I've known people who took immense care of their 3.0 HDi's and they still got destroyed. These HDI engines are fine, but if the car is also brand new.. After so many years that have passed, it's just a ticking bomb and a matter of time before something goes totally wrong with them. While the petrol V6 is known to be far more reliable and less stressful to maintain.
This car is more fuel efficient than a new mazda 3 sky active. Despite of this annual tax for new mazda 3 is 130 euro and over 1000 euro for C6 in Finland. Does not make any sense.😮💨

Coche de estética horripilante, pero la máquina definitiva para atravesar Europa. De todas formas y honestamente los coches deberían elegirse primando comodidad, ergonomía, seguridad y mecánica por encima de otras cosas.
