Hi T frank ... I just received my M100 and honestly I feel it’s odd I don’t know ! I’m used to canon DSLR (manual setting) after first time I used it I felt little disappointed because I really like how small it is, i’m planning to get the 22 mm as the main lens. I’m just afraid to spend two more hundred dollars. Since you’re already tried DSLR’s before did you get used to the M 100 or it’s completely different experience? I mean I like the style but I don’t want a beginner camera you know?! Hope you read this soon :(
Hi there! I got use to it pretty quickly because my DSLR cameras felt too big. With the M100, you have to go into the settings to get to the manual controls. Have you looked at the M50? That may be a better camera for you and I believe it’s on sale right now. The refurbished price directly from Canon may be worth looking into. As for the 22mm, I have that lens and I love it. Makes the camera feel even smaller and I love the F/2.0.
T. Frank yep I know about the good sales going on right now, the thing is I wanted the smallest size possible w/interchangeable lens. The m200 and M50 was same price but I bought M100 because it has bundle lenses deal. Anyways, do the 22mm produce nice bokeh effect like the ef 50mm lens? I‘m HOPING FOR THAT because I’m bokeh freak lols ... thanks a lot for responding :)
Are you considering the 50MM for vlogging or just want to know how it works on the M100? The 50MM is a EF lens and would require an adapter to use it on the M100. This lens is not good for vlogging bc of the crop factor on APS-C cameras. For vlogging, I would recommend the 15-45 mm kit lens that comes with the camera, the 11-22MM EF-M lens or the 10-18MM EF-S lens that would require the adapter. If I have the time, I'll make a video.
If you’re trying to move the videos and pics over, there are a few different ways. You can take the sd card out and put into the computer, you can use a usb cable to connect the computer and the camera, or you can move the files wirelessly by connecting your computer and the camera to the same wifi.
Perfect review - you hit every question I had. Thank you!
You're welcome. Glad to have helped🙂
Great video.. would you still recommend this camera for someone just starting their photography journey?
Thank you! Yes I would. It is a great little camera and you should be able to get it for a good price.

Lola Bunny oh I see. And yes you will get some nice bokeh. Thank you for your comment 🙂
Hi, how’s the leather quality? Is there an actual bump that makes it more grippy? Is the leather texture slippery or just right? Thanks
Great video! That case looks really good on the M100!
Thanks!!! I love it😍
Thank you, Ms. Frank!
You're welcome😀
Dope looking case, great video as usual
Thanks, Will.
Does eos m10 face jacket fits eos m100 ?
Will you be able to make a vlog video on how the 50mm lens works with the camera?
