The first race with Insane Racing's brand new Formula Offroad build, 2 INSANE. Almost 2 years after Martin Michaelsen broke his neck in three places in Skien, he is back and takes the win in his first race!
2 INSANE is powered by a Whipple supercharged 427 LS7 from Mast Motorsports!

MadRam11 Thank you. Martin says that it is much easier to drive than his previous car, Insane. 1. Because it has a lower hood, so the visibility is better 2. The power is more evenly distributed, and not "all or nothing" like it is with nitrous 3. The link setup is different and throws the car forwards instead of backwards when he hits the walls.

Young guns just don't get it that it's quicker keeping that control in such insane turns. Now you've got that first return behind you I'm sure you'll power on.
Congrats from Oz to the whole team for the new vehicle & all the improvements & innovations you thought so long about & crafted into it. Trying to find the balance between light weight and a strong car is a delicate balancing act in design & construction. Looks like a new benchmark.
