The tune of the song was based on a 1947 Cuban song called Quizas Quizas Quizas. It was covered by people like Nat King Cole but most people are familiar with Doris Day's 1964 version Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps which is why it's so familiar

Geeta Dutt who sang this song was also the wife of Gurudutt, the director of this film. She shot to fame in the late 40s. You will be surprised that even today she has a large fan following with listeners ranging from 12-80yr olds. These are sites and YT channels @Parag Sankla to keep her legacy alive. Gurudutt later moved on to more serious neo-realistic films, quite unusual for the Hindy film industry at that time.
Unfortunately they had a stormy marriage with Gurudutt passing away in 1964. Geeta Dutt died an untimely death eight years later in 1972 aged 41 years. You can hear her swan songs from the film "Anubhav" (albeit not technically) released in 1971.

In actuality 50s Bollywood we’re more influential to then north west Eurasian then the Indians. It was since the 70s when the actual started watching/ buying Bollywood tickets. Movies were made for local Bollywood audiences.

Excellent reaction..this is one of my favorite songs and Shakeela was a very famous dancer in bollywood movies of that era..Please also react to an excellent/outstanding sad song of Mohd Rafi, which I personally feel in-terms of emotional intensity and realism of the ways of the world is one of the best songs in the world..it moves you to tears and shows what life really is..the song is "kaarvan guzar gaya gubar dekhte rahe" from a very old hindi movie nai umar nai fasal shot in 1965..Mohd Rafi in my personal opinion is the best musician India has had till now..

Mathew when is Sanson ki mala reaction coming as a reward for winning your contest? ☺️
Also please react to all songs of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun the highest grosser of Bollywood till date. The movie that catapulted Madhuri and Salman to super stardom and ran for full house in Cinemas. Didi tera Devar deewana should be the first song you should react to ❤️

Yes, it is important to establish ourselves before starting a family, but if our partner can deal with our insecure condition, why should we reject them? That means his/her love to us is unconditional and with the unconditional love, we can support each other in gaining a better financial life. Love is not demanding, but it's accepting and with the acceptance, all blessing will come to us without we thought :)

No worries. It's a pleasure to help you :)
I also draw another card for you.. 7 of rose (courage) and 3 of rose (opportunity). With these, I feel the message saying that: even if you face some unfavorable situation or if you've had a bad day, don't worry. You'll still able to get anything you desired for as long as you keep yourself couraged. (FYI: I was meant to tell you this at your first live streaming, but I don't know, there was something wrong with my phone) 🤭
And for the latest reading in further, 3 cards falls for you when I shuffle. You have: ace of gems/pentacles (reward), the lovers (attractions), queen of gems/pentacles (the nurturer). With these 3's, in details you'll have several possibilities.
      Possibility 1:
Someone is coming to your life, to nurture you (I can't see who this person is), but he/she will nurture you with full of compassion and you will find this person's nurturing as a gift or reward
      Possibility 2:
The Higher Power is about to send you a present in which: meeting you to a person who loves you and you'll love this person back (likely there'll be a strong attraction between you and this person) and you'll find this person nurturing a lot.
By the way, I post a video of general tarot reading in my channel. It's a text reading (not voice) because I'm a newbie in video editing. Hope I'll get improved next time.
      th-cam.com/video/uW2B8MBpwLk/w-d-xo.html
Pick 1 pile from that video and tell me on the comment what number did you choose :)
Have a nice day and hope to catch you again on saturday 🙂🙏

Curious as to why you are reacting to Indian content. Do you have a particular connection to India?

    • @bahaar2825
      @bahaar2825 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Britain ruled India for almost 200 years. Many British have been born and raised in India because of that. Many British have also acted in Hindi cinema. For example, Rachel Shelley, Ben Kingsley, Mish Boyko, Tom Alter who was also of British Descent, just to name a few. Most Europeans have been interested in watching Bollywood movies from the early 1900's when it all began. So yes there is a deep connection.☺
