Rekha ji is ART. It ends there. Yes and u rightly said..Asha ji. I call her the magician lady. Jadoogarni in hindi. What a combo. ❤

Rekha ji is a miracle, not a human being. She set the bar soooo high that it is practically impossible for any other actor to reach there. Guess why I say that? Becaise, I am a north indian, hindi and urdu speaking person with sharp sense in music and arts. Rekha ji is a south indian tamil lady. She was heavy and dusky when she was young; just another actor pushing her way. And then a miracle happened. Because it was the Bombay film industry, she mastered Urdu speaking, she picked up kathak dancing though not a classical expert but....a master at narration by her eyes; and finally, she practised yoga. That fat dusky lady turned into the most beautiful, deeply charming, smiling and loving person. Lo and behold, here comes a prima donna which I still wonder, whether she is real and not a story? What an amazing creation of almighty. ❤ For me, she is the only one in acting. What a beauty❤. Aishwarya et al need to take 100 births to even understand Rekha ji. We cannot compare them with her.

Matt, it feels satisfying that finally a generation of those who kept aside this classic work,then, are now investing in understanding the underlying intricacies. Honestly I myself get overwhelmed at the depth in indian music, art, and religion such that at times I say to myself " relax. Take a break if its too deep for you"😂. It has evolved over more than atleast 5000 years.

Sajna ve sajna song is also really good it's a little modern from a short movie based in mumbai where a banker and prostitute meet while taking shelter from rain

The dancer seems to be a troupe of travelling gypsies and her sexual energy is mesmerising.

Nice choice dear, the song meaning is i had chosen happiness over sadness and crossed hurdles in the path of my happiness. The lyrics is i had pulled my drape from thornes , broke all the bonds and wore enklets and want to fly . she leaved her controlling and cheater husband who who always stoped her to dance and got enklets to dance , dance is in her soul . Then she took dev anand with her to the snake catcher's community to dance with them , the song you mentioned in your video.
