I’ve tried the French dressing versions and they’re okay but it’s not something we have on hand either so ketchup and mayo is the better way! Mac Sauce: 1 cup mayo 1/4 cup ketchup (plus a little more depending on color) 2 tbls. Yellow Mustard 2 tbls. Sweet Relish 1 tsp. DILL pickle juice 1 tsp. Onion powder Salt and pepper to taste

I have to say one thing. This is the second holiday appetizer video of yours that I've watched (I watched your most recent one earlier). I really love the way you and your husband do this together. I love any videos where people make meals or treats with their spouses or other family, friends, etc. and to see them having fun doing it. Mandy and her husband Steven over at Mandy in the Making do the same thing. They crack jokes, tease each other and tell funny stories while they cook. Maybe you guys do the same, not sure, I've only watched these two videos so far. But it's just so fun and heartwarming. It's engaging and makes the viewers feel like they are part of the fun, too.
Those pinwheels looked yummy 😋...Maybe if you rolled it from the long side then they would have been smaller and you could have got more pinwheels from one recipe! 😉 ❤️

I would like to share it with if you don’t mind. Hope you and Bunky like it. I must be served warm . I used a small 1 1/2 quart crock pot. It is called Shrimp Dip It calls for 2 medium size cans of cooked shrimp. (It is found on the isle with canned chicken and tuna). 2 8 oz. Pkgs. of Cream Cheese. 2 sticks of ( unsalted butter). 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce and 4 green onions chopped. Chop onions ; mash the shrimp well; then place everything in the crockpot on low and stir occasionally until we’ll blended. Serve with chips of choice. It is truly delicious. God bless you and Bunky.
My husband used to work at McDonalds back in the day when he was in high school. He said when they ran out of the official sauce his manager would go to the grocery store and pick up some 1000 Island dressing. Your version reminds me of the Kraft sandwich spread. i always thought it was Thousand Island dressing on Big Macs. Yes, put a wet paper towel between you & the onion. It will soak up the enzymes that cause us to cry when cutting an onion. These appetizers look yummy! I love a good tot! lol

The onion hack * when I first start to feel affected by an onion ( or start to 😢) I stop and sit the onion down and go to the sink and run my hands under cold water, depending on the temperature outside I also might open a kitchen window for the air flow. I forget who told me this tip but I think it was an aunt!? However, I've been doing it for years and I'm 60 now and it's always worked for me. It truly doesn't end until you're done with a strong onion! 🤣 I can remember having a job in a kitchen of a restaurant as a food prep, needless to say, I cut up A LOT of onions and I can remember tears streaming down my face! 😭 that was before I learned this tip and I can tell you, I'm so glad I know it! My hack for the onions is to chop the onions right next to the sink and constantly be rinsing off the knife and your hands. And at some point, if you need to, take the onions off the cutting board and rinse the cutting board and then continue chopping. I believe it is the juice from the onion that makes your eyes tear up. So if you can get rid of that juice I think you have solved the problem. Works for me. Thanks for all the fun ideas!

Yes, a wet paper towel rolled up in a ball and put it between you and the onion. I don't like onions, but I do cut on when I am making liver and onions for us and my sister. THEY get the onions in theirs, I make my separate. There's nothing better than playing with your food when you're cooking!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I can't wait to try these!!!!

Tater tots cups are the bomb. I used hot sausage instead of bacon. I also added franks red hot powder yum.

Roll the Mac pinwheels the long way next time and it will work better and cut with a serrated bread knife and it won’t mash them down. Looks yummy! ❤
