A film without music is not a film, but an empty shell. The actors owe their success largely to the music. John Barry's music gives the film substance and makes it a great success. What a gift that is. It is unbelievable how he always manages to create such beautiful music for a film.

Often making a good film into a very good film or a very good film into a great one.

What you say is generally true, but there are a few movies that have absolutely no music and are still great films. The movie "Network" by Sidney Lumet comes to mind. And of course there are some outstanding silent films that were not paired with a score specifically written for that movie.

Good gracious, sometimes true absolute love comes to us at least once in our lives, I had a beautiful intelligent vibrant woman, because of my stupidity I lost that true love, she walked away from me, and believe me I have always regretted my actions and I truly missed her every single day this beautiful music brings me to tears every time I think of her, please everyone if you have a true love one in your life, don't make the same stupid idiotic mistakes that I made, treasure it for all the days of your life.
