Demi Moore never looked better than in this Movie. I always thought she was attractive but in this Movie she was luminous.
Our of Africa, Indecent Proposal, Braveheart, Dance with wolves....and many old films had the best soundtrack ever.

The most important speech in this picture is when he told her his experience in the subway when he was young. He was captivated by a smile of beatiful girl and he felt shy. He tried to find her again for two weeks but she did not appeared. This scene made me remember a nice girl that smile me in the bus when I was 10 years old. After 52 years, I can´t forget her smile.

I was 22 years old.

Et que dire de la composition de John Barry. Magistrale. Ce film décrié à sortie est devenu culte et le couple Redford/Moore est tout simplement magique.

To me they all have a soft lens look about them. Adds to the human sensitivity of the story.
But it also could be due to it being shot on film and not digital!

Which is what my comments were referring to in regards to the soft lens look of movies from the era.
Back when it was 1993, no fb, no youtube, no whatsapp, no selfie, no smartphone. We were a different breed of human... And I was 21.

I have never watched this film. I was too you in the 1990s to watch such a film. I an over 30 now. It looks beautifully done and the scenes are really meaningful. I feel for her husband most. He really loved her more than anyone. She loved him so much as well, that is why she agreed to be with Robert Redford for the evening. Such beautiful music. Thank you for the soundtrack. 3 great actors.

Robert Redford was truly the star of the the movie
It was such a moving film and a love story in the form of a trio, I always had a twinge in my heart for the character of Robert Redford who realizes that the young woman will never love him as she loves his companion, and who resolves to let her go so that she may be happy (because he respects her and loves her, so he cannot do otherwise). John Barry's music is sublime, obviously, the composer wrote there one of his most beautiful romantic scores in the 90s, shortly after "Dances with Wolves". And I'll add to finish that I have rarely seen Demi Moore so beautiful in a film, I understand that two men then want to fight for her. It is the pinnacle of old-fashioned romanticism that is now on the way out...
This song is so sad and beautiful. It makes one think that life is inherently unfair. The billionaire guy in the movie had everything, but he couldn't get a real smile from the woman he loves. That gazillion-dollar smile is worth everything.
Woody Harrelson's best role in my opinion.

I dont know when I listen to this music and watch the scenes. I want to cry for Woody Harrelson. He made some mistakes but he loved his wife so much and his love for her was unparalleled to Robert Redford. The last scene where he says that it's not that couples forget the wrongs they did. It's just that they choose to forgive one another. Made me cry. Love this scene.
