Thank you for such a detailed review!!! The addition of the mini pochette was very helpful for me! I tend to keep a card case in there so I can put receipts in as well. I do like like to keep my phone separate from other things so I don’t scratch it. My only other essential is my inhaler. I think this bag will be perfect for all my absolute “must haves”. I tend to keep a Neverful in the car as an on the go organizer for everything ( as I always have two toddlers in tow, so a big tote in the car is a lifesaver). I like to keep something small in there if I just need to in in somewhere quickly. You have just sold m on this bag. I was really debating it. Thank You!!!

I have the Gucci Soho Disco and love it! However this bag really tempts me because it is a very casual bag (in my opinion) and would be perfect for weekend outings or even my annual trip to Vegas. Great video!

Love your little mini Ophidia ! Yes so mine is exactly the same only in the original versions the key chain inside was not detachable! I’m a little bummed about that! I wish mine detached! But it’s ok I love my mini nonetheless she is SO cute I love the vintage vibe so much... thanks for sharing this and please please show her in more future videos 😍❤️🎊
That is so interesting that Gucci decided to change the key chain inside to a detachable one. I do think it was a great idea to make it detachable, but I know that it doesn't take up much room at all, so it would not be in the way if it didn't detach! I'm glad you are loving your bag, as well :)

The leathers meeting on the strap like that are pretty typical of Gucci’s thinner-strapped bags. I have a different mini bag from like 5 years ago & when I got it I noticed that too. It wears well though don’t worry about it, you’ll forget it’s there 🙂

Has anyone had a problem with the strap separating at the base? I picked my bag up after only using it twice and the strap had come apart at the gold metal connectors? Not sure what to do with this.
Planning on purchasing the 'small' version of this bag - love the vintage look! I'm surprised they didn't put the 3 credit card slots in this mini bag! They did in the Gucci Ophidia Supreme pouch, which looks a touch smaller than this bag.

Having that zipper on the outside will be so handy. I just got back from NY for a week and used my Louis Vuitton Ava which I had not used in years. It fit what I needed but having to open the entire bag just to use my lipgloss or grab a tissue I felt like something might fall out so I had to be extra cautious whenever I opened it. Being in NY shopping, eating riding in taxis I was opening it a lot so I think you will love having that front zipper for things you want to get to without disturbing the whole bag. Wondering if a small card case would fit or just your card and a little cash might work? I think I need to go check that bag out. 😊 You did a great review. Thanks for sharing.

I LOVE that bag! it's so stinkin' cute! I was close to purchasing it but I purchased 2 other unexpected bags (Limited Edition Speedy 20b with the gold chain handles in brand new condition and a Chanel chain around in taupe) so I'm TRYING to be good although the Nordtrom Anniversary sale isn't helping!

Definitely the front zip for the chapstick and lipgloss and maybe some breath mints. Then I’d do the agenda with cards in it. Keys in the key case and maybe a small hand cream and squeeze in a pair of sunglasses.

The green and red "ribbon" gets a bit of wear on the back of the bag where it rubs against your body, but in general, it still looks good!

Is this the same size as the marmont mini?
Actually, it is between the sizes of the Marmont mini and supermini. The Marmont mini is about an inch bigger than the Ophidia mini, and the Marmont supermini is about an inch smaller than the Ophidia mini.

Many TH-camrs have done videos of luxury handbags and it's crazy how much the prices have increased in one year's time. Just curious to know how much you paid for this bag two years ago. That will be my determining factor as to whether or not I buy it. I just bought the YSL Toy Lou Lou. The price increase is ridiculous!
