Lydia can you tell us more what happened - your grandma had Gucci bags but you said you were homeless and your mom works in Tesco? You also mentioned you worked many summers in Ibiza but that yor parents supported you at Uni. If it is not too personal, when did it go down?thanks!

i think when she's said homeless she didn't literally mean on the streets, she just meant between permanent places but I'm not sure! Also i think her grandma that had the gucci bag was her dad's mum, not her mums and i think her parents are separated. Also in England, lots of people go out and work summers in Ibiza for fun, not because they're poor

I do remember though that at the beginning of this channel Lydia talked aboit having to make it from the bottom, being homeless and coming from a modest background so I don’t know whether that was untrue or the family lost its wealth. Thanks for explaining about Ibiza, since it was a job in a strip club my mind immediately went to’money trouble’ which is horrible and I do not wish it upon anyone!
thisisme she mentioned once that her family used to own a company way before and were making good money but due to the rapid growth and use of technology and online businesses the company went down. Something along those lines I can't remember entirely

I’m so surprised by how much more US jean brands seem to cost in the UK! Over here they retail for about $200ish, but at selfridges they seem to be around $300? Lydia you should definitely go denim shopping in America if you ever get the chance

I haven't seen the Gucci Ophidia bag on any instagram shots or other videos of yours - were you just given the bag to do a video on it to boost sales for Gucci? I noticed you still had the plastic wrap on the zipper ends? Love transparency!
Yes, I was never a big fan of Gucci for the reason as how you described it - in-your-face and loud. That bag that you got grew on me after the relaunch. I think it is because it looks vintage and how you style and wear it is gorgeous! You are right as the small one would be less bulky and easier to wear crossbody. Very well described.
Also the LEVI 721 are the same look as the LEVI weggie but much much more comfortable!! HIGHLY recommend.

I’ve an old skool Gucci messenger bag. Got it 15 years ago and was my first ever designer handbag. I still rock it, although it’s the black canvas monogram (like the ophidia canvas), so for me it was timeless. So happy I have it. ☺️

Aghhh no babe! With the redone jeans! Hope you can get them altered to how you want. I was in the same boat 6 months ago trying to get my size in the redone, but everywhere was sold out. Lizzie from shotfromthestreet steered me onto to levis wedgies and I now own three pairs. They do loosen up and get softer. Love your videos hun x

I’m a 10 mostly so not your size but I think it’s helpful to know what a brands sizing is like in comparison to your size so I can work out what size I will be. Knowing if things fit tight or loose really help when ordering online. Keep slaying xxx
