I'm ordering the GG Marmont mini tonight in that same color :) I kept going back and forth between the small and the mini but I think I like the shape of the mini much better. I don't carry too many things so the size is also perfect for me. This will be my very first luxury designer bag and I'm super excited to get it.

Been binge watching your channel and I love your videos. Recent find for your viewers in the US. You sold me on the Gucci camera bag and I went in Saks to decide between the Soho Disco or the Marmont and fell in love with the Marmont small size (bit bigger than the mini). Scoured online and in store and for those interested -- if you purchase on the Selfridges website it is about $60 cheaper even with the tax and shipping fee. Saks sells for $1200 (before tax) and you can get it on Selfridges for $1140 (after tax and shipping). I'm sure a similar price difference applies to the mini as well. Good time to take advantage of the exchange rates for us US folks :)

Honestly so so useful. That's why I love your videos. On my list of purchase the next 18 months a mulberry medium lily, Chanel jumbo and Gucci soho disco. I have a baby so for me a bag must fit at least 3 nappies. Yea, no nappy bags here, spent too much money on bags to use baby bags. Def heading for a soho disco then. In case you are wondering in Gucci Dionysus I can fit my phone, sunglasses, tiny make up pouch, 4 pampers, small pack of wipes, a baby bottle, baby nappy cream 20ml A small toy and my cards...I feel like I can get more in disco and I love love the bag. Thank you! I’ve been back and forth with these two, and also the velvet marmont which is beautiful and bigger than this leather marmont and although I was initially attracted to the value of disco, I opted for the black marmont for versatility. I find your channel quite useful!

Yes, as you said that the mini Marmont cross body bag does not come with an adjustable shoulder strap,
however, the bigger size up i.e.: the small size (cm 24 wide) does come with an adjustable shoulder strap.

I love the concise and organized format of your comparison videos with none of the irrelevant jibber jabber re brand type of makeup, etc. You're the only TH-camr so far that makes comparison videos that actually show a top view of the bag with contents rather than itemizing the irrelevant particulars of what's inside the bag, which isn't helpful at all.. please keep your videos coming! 😀

Thank you so much for this video! I bought the soho disco back in november last year where I also looked at the same size marmont you returned, which just didn't seem right to me. I've fallen in love with the look of the mini version, though, and I'm considering buying it next month for my birthday. Haven't seen it in person yet since I don't have a store near me, and your video is really helpful, now I at least have an idea of what fits in also in comparison to the soho disco:) lots of love from Germany

Such a great comparison! Thanks so much! I bought a black soho on a whim and while I love it, I feel it’s a bit plain and I have heaps of black bags so feel the bling would’ve made it more formal and useful to dress up as a nice evening bag. I probably should’ve at least bought it in the nude colour as I don’t have many light coloured bags. Now I’m considering buying either a nude Soho or Marmont! I do love the size of the soho as it fits the perfect amount and most of the time I love the minimalistic look.
One thing that really bothers me (and I’m probably just weird about it) is that I find, because the straps are quite thin and the bag is quite boxy and heavy when full, that the bag tends to flip over and stay overturned.
Do you find that happens to yours too? And does that kind of thing happen with the marmont?

I've been craving the Gucci Soho Disco bag and trying to talk myself out of it for years. I decided to get out of bed and measure my Mulberry Lily and it's slightly larger than the Gucci Soho Disco. I think the Lily works pretty well as a go to errand running bag like the Soho Disco and as a day to night handbag like the Gucci Marmont Camera bag. I've got two Mulberry Lily's one with silver and one with gold hardware. I'm going to start using them more often. I'd love to know your opinion on the Mulberry Lily as they have been around for quite some time now.

I absolutely love my soho disco, it is the most useful bag ever! I really don't think the new one holds a candle to it... Although it is very cute, I just don't think it will have the same longevity and classic look that the Soho Disco has had.
