Love that bag I have the mini and small. I'm glad the bag doesn't have removable strap would have look weird caring itself. The lining being suede I think Gucci did amazing, the bag are simple putting a silk lining would make the bag looks busy.
A recommendation to smooth the zipper on the bag. Try wax paper. Just rub the wax paper across the teeth of the zipper then pool the zipper open and close until the zipper runs smooth. The wax sickens the metal.

Thanks for the review as there aren't many out there. I'm the opposite, I prefer the microfibre lining... I actually feel like the silky lining make the bag looks cheap! That's why I don't like the Gucci Marmont Velvet line... lol. As you said, it is all about personal preference. :). I do worry the strap on this small size is too short though. How do you find it (since you are similar height to me)...? I'm also debating between this small size and the mini size... but strap on mini is way too long! >.
This bag is definitely meant to be worm as a shoulder bag. However it doesn’t bother me at all worn as a crossbody. It doesn’t feel awkward at all and I find it very cute on both ways.😉
I just ordered this bag based on your recommendation! Do you think the bag can be worn safely in all weather? I couldn't tell if the canvas is coated or not. I really like the outside pocket for my phone.

Hi Melene! I used to work for a high end retail store and our zippers on some of our bags had issues like this... we would use wax paper and rub it against the entire zipper line and it helped instantly. Please try that and let us know if it works! 🤞🏻 This bag is too classy and pretty to not use!
I don’t own this bag (yet), but had tried it on at the store. I don’t like the microfiber lining either but the zipper is what bothers me the most. For that price, Gucci could have used a better and smoother zipper. I went for the Givenchy Antigona in the mini size instead for this very reason.

Tenille Mcwatters I have the LV clapton, b25, b30 & Gucci Marmont. If you need a medium bag, I think this Ophidia bag is as ideal as b25 (that has a narrower opening) they are mostly canvas hence they are carefree. I personally love my LV clapton because of the exterior pocket and is a very ideal pretty on-the-go bag!

Handbag girl I have this bag and I had 3 replacements already due to the stitching on the sides of the zipper. I don’t know if I happen to get bags from the same production line ( also bought at Nordstrom DONT EVER BUY DESIGNER THERE!!) but the stitching kept ripping or loosening and the replacements were missing loops. Found this video because I wanted to see if anyone else had that same issue

Just FYI... Gucci is using better liners than LV for t hat price point. LV bags, they use microfiber lining for more expensive bags and starting to use cheaper fabric for less expensive bags. My recent LV bag was over 2k and no microfiber. Just come this fabric.
Roxanne Nguyen You can, however the straps aren’t long enough for some people. I’m 5’8 and it hits me right about my belly button/torso area. It is meant to be a shoulder bag. But I don’t see why you couldn’t wear it as a cross body.😀
Maybe the straps can be removed at a lleather repair place then have gold clips added on to them. I guess if someone never wants to resell it
