Great message in this song. I am also drawn to the singer/songwriters, it just seems that it is more heartfelt, and you can feel the emotion in those songs.

My take on it is that both the good and bad times in life shape us in one way or another.

I hadn't heard this song but it was absolutely beautiful. I am familiar with Gavin also through his collaboration with the brothers of NEEDTOBREATHE on the song, "Brother." It's one of my top 3 favorite contemporary Christian songs ever and if you haven't heard it I'd love your reaction to that one.
