hey guys, i love the stuff you do so i just want everything, doesnt matter to me if the goal of the video is something small like just driving or big like a full dyno day, i just want all the content :D
Part 2 I would like the continuation! Road test then dyno, then road test again ! I do like everything you guys do! Paint scheme is on point for the car.
Is your current turbo maxed out or is it just mapped at 30psi? My car's mapped at 23psi but I can easily make it do 40psi Had it up to 48 but it's not mapped for that much boost so it makes no extra power
@@MaNNeRz91 no my 2022 579 ultraloft Peterbilt is completely stock right now. Once when I hit 50000 miles I plan on going to a semi dyno and get it tuned. Benefits of being a lease owner operator, is I can do that type of thing, haha.
@@MaNNeRz91 I'm at 35,000 miles. So, another 2-3 months and I'll put her on a dyno. Unfortunately I don't have a Cummins or a cat motor. I have the pac car engine.
Iron man scheme is perfect with the filter color as well. I love watching these videos since they sponsor themselves and say what they want to, not worrying about the algorithms.
I bought a pair of glasses and they broke, but with a quick message to them and they sent me a new pair. I am very happy with thier service and quality of the carbon glasses and really good lenses. Highly recommend
You make video, I watch. Love Z cars and yours has the most unique powertrain in it. Dyno and road testing is great. You guys are giving me the motivation to finish my project. Thanks for your hard work.
I definitely would go for a feature length dyno update. Your content is A+ because you don't dwell on the little details of the build. Your longer videos really capture a highlight reel feeling (don't get me wrong I still wanna see when things go wrong too ;) ) that moves at a pretty decent pace. It feel like following a quality forum build thread and that's where your videos shine. You guys aren't amateurs and it shows, you have clear direction in the build and are resourceful. To that extent, the feature length video however less infrequent feel to me like they are more suited towards your style of documenting the build in every aspect. Keep up the good videos, one day you'll get a breakthrough and your new subscribers will have a backlog of videos to discover. Cheers from Canada,
FYI, OEM catch cans (nissan and volvo at least do these) are always mounted on or very close to the head/block and the reason for that is that they're hot, and they should be hot, it keeps the moisture in suspension and stops it condensing out. Then it can breath out and go away. You can also artificially heat the catch can, I think a few companies make catch cans that have a coolant circuit through them to achieve this. DO IT. You don't have a problem to solve in the engine, you have a problem to solve in your breather system, so don't worry about the engine misbehaving temperature wise.
I'm saving 5.5 grand for a t56 for my build. Pray for me lol. Like like you have an old BMW too? Mine is an e30 that's getting a dodge ram magnum engine
Dyno and drive vid, and with boosting away the smoke. That new filter is way better sized than the lawnmower size old filter / restrition. Glad you didn't burn the car down !
You guys should paint up everything in the engine bay Iron Man style, intercooler, fans, lines and add some LED eyes somewhere up front and that would make it really pop out.
I’m also curious to see how much the changes you just did made so it’d be cool to have a road testing video. I actually think the new colors under the hood are fun, haha.
Do em both together and a little longer vid..... awesome job on that car looks great and by the looks of it it runs pretty dam good keep the videos coming
Basic drive to make sure it works to the dyno. Then balls out on the dyno in a more controlled environment so you don’t blow it up after all the hard work that’s gone into the beast!
man... i had the exact same thing with those air filters, i compression checked, dynoed and ripped my injectors out only to find a shiny disc that had fell off the air filter and was stuck covering the throttle body. lesson learned and a quality one fitted >
I think your intercooler end tank inlet and outlet is the new restrictions. Dyno and road test together please. Bring a larger inter cooler and some spare piping to the dyno. You can Cobb together a over the top no hood intercooler to install at the dyno. It will be worth 50+ hp.
Hey y'all, I've watched several of your videos and I really do love the build, I recently picked up a 76 280Z that I'm doing a frame-up restoration with a touch of modern and I'm having issues finding some things and looking for interesting Ideas from you and others 😊

No ECU in a dootsoon and still you have electrical issues, classic
Street testing and some “fire as always” cooking

So lucky with the fire, that terminal was probably a 200 amp fuse 🔥
Good idea to put a fuse on it actually, and also one on the alternator.
Love the Ironman theme, I would love to see the car get dyno.
You guys just do it right for content I wait day in day out for that notification from team boosted. Awesome as ever guys
“Do they even make pants that can contain your manhood?” Best quote ever!
He needs a separate SACK to contain his manhood
40psi... dang! That's 10 more psi then what my 200k peterbilt makes.. now I need a bigger turbo!

Skip the spinning rims we are on the clock. Record it all, road test to the Dyno session. 🤙🏼
Street driving video before the dyno video for sure!
Dyno and track testing are my recommendations.

BRING BACK THE DEATH KART! Please and thank you!
I can't wait to see this beast hit full boost! I love this build. It deserves a ton more attention. When are you heading to hoonigan?
Def need 40psi road pull video. This thing sounds wicked on pulls.

I'd like to see this race a normal commuter car, that would give a good prospective on its power

Fire extinguisher in the car too!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that ends up with an immense pile of tools around my projects, even for the simplest of jobs (it would seem).
The breakdowns in convenient places is the soul of the Mercedes shining through. They even brake down reliably. Those Germans think of everything!
You'll make Banks happy with that new filter. Air density is king baby
the extra video would be great! id like to see as many videos as possible!
Testing would be awesome to see. Always enjoy watching you guys, keep it up.

My bamboo boosted shades have been awesome!
I'm cool with whatever makes videos of a length the algorithm likes.
Film anything. I love that you’re building what you want rather than what’s popular at the time just for views.
Love to see some street testing. Loving the color scheme under the bonnet/hood
New intake looks awesome
Just do what you do. Content is excellent.
Huge feature length obviously!
The Iron Man theme is sick.
Keep em coming boys we’ll watch them
Another reminder to get a fire extinguisher for my 65 fastback daily driver 😅
Loving this build! Show us whatever u want next ep. We'll watch it anyway 😉
That iron man though! I'd actually love to see a vehicle 2 toned in those iron colors
Getting that turbo painted Gold or red would look mean as 👍
defiantly test everything first. not even for just the videos but to make sure the dyno session goes smooth and its not a cluster when you get there.
Iron man look is killer! Also do whatever you want for your video schedule, gonna watch em regardless
With the intake color scheme of "Ironman" you should have those tungsten exaust tips, themed for Captain America, and call the Datsun "The Avenger"
cant wait for the dyno video! this thing sounds so insane!
Love the color scheme and I think all one video would be awesome 👍
Dyno and road test in one vid, great content as always 👌👍
