@@thelondonpodiatrist Only just seen this reply so apologies for delay, I've corresponded with the course lead professor, its a doctorate program fusion between a PhD and Prof Doc, there is no alignment with skill analysis within the NHS so you WILL NOT be up banded or consultancy level on completion. Its very similar to the PhD route and does not offer translational skills for surgical certification therefore you still need to follow the MSc theory of surgery route and then surgical passport RCOP route additionally so it is not an equivalent to the US DPM which is a shame and a missed opportunity.

@@thelondonpodiatrist Agreed, RCOP Resolution 5 at the AGM being voted down has put the entire profession in a strange place, the only solution I can see is a DPM in the UK in parity with the USA.
