PlayStation pro will be my first console ever! Never had one when I was a kid or teen or young adult. At my 40’s I’m starting to game with my little nephew and I’m loving it!!!

People claiming you can build a PC of the same power at the price of the console? That's kinda bullshit. You can buy a graphics of the same power at that price. You will still need the motherboard, CPU, memory and storage.

I went through the trouble of building a gaming PC with an RTX 4080. The issue is I don't like windows and find my MacBook pro is what I use 99% of the time for PC needs and I prefer my PS5 for games since we have a big OLED TV. The Graphics/frame rates are objectively better on my PC but I honestly find I just don't really care anymore. I still keep on turning it on to update drivers and games every now and then but I think it will be the last PC I build. The consoles are just so good they really make the PC feel unnecessary. If you are someone who loved modding and all that maybe you feel different but between my family and job my time is valuable.
And monitor depending on which one you get is at least 700-1400 dollars.
@@chasethechosenone8478 yeah, but the PS5 doesn't include a TV, so that's not really fair to include in calculating against PC price. I did forget to mention buying case and power supply.

The GPU increase is significant especially when used in tandem with their own PSSR. If the price is reasonable it will certainly deliver a quality 4k experience versus a PC of the same price. I'm PC master race all the way but I like nice tech and the PS5Pro is well specced.

The best chance Sony has to gain any success for Concord is to re launch as a free game and try to launch multi platform aswell but its deff a uphill battle from here 😂
To be honest, i reckon the PS5 pro will be on a slightly modified OG PS5 chassis, and the slim plates will still fit, hence those 3 extra vent/strips to make up the space. (Lets just see 😏)
Yeah I thought the 4 plates on the slim was stupid, but it makes sense now.
Im not going to fault Sony for Concord. They take risks, and sometimes, they dont work out. Failures are great teachers.
I think Concord couldve been salvaged, if it had some kind of campaign mode that lets you dive deeper and care more about the characters. That is what I was hoping from Sony's service games effort, that they take some of the same care in building up the characters in their stellar single player games and add that to service games. Maybe that was expecting too much.
Sony was too fixated on GAAS, but I suspect and hope they build a campaign for Concord even if it’s released in episodes to reduce cost and time to release. Sony still has a number of GAAS games in production like Fair Games, rumored Horizon MP, among others..they have to be very concerned. Ultimately, narrative based campaigns are important to one demographic so maybe they should focus on adding that on top of the MP to make sure this kind of “L” doesn’t happen with multiple future releases.
Honestly if they stuck making that game for 8 years they definitely deserve an chance at making one more game

I had a feeling from its unveil that Concord was going to fail. My gut feeling was right. I wouldn't be surprised if PlayStation shuts down the studio. Though it would be cool if they repurposed the game using PlayStation iconic characters.
Maybe now PlayStation will think twice before making another live service only game.
This is definitely wasted resources. They could've done things like Horizon Zero Dawn (PS5 ver), God of War classic series remaster, God of War (2018) PS5 ver, etc.
The PS5 Pro mockup does look nice, and presumably it'll be compatible with the PS5 Slim face plates.
If they launch it at $600 and sells the disc drive at like $80, they effectively would've done a repeat of the PS3 launch meme but for modern times.
I don't have a PS5 yet so the PS5 Pro is probably what I'll get. I hope it comes with more internal storage and has 2 NVMe slots.
With how much machine learning and AI is being used with things like PCs, Apple, etc, it would not be a surprise if the PS6 utilizes it.
I've been saving money little by little for a while and I definitely have more than enough for a PS5 Pro. But I also want to know if it will support 1 NVMe or 2 NVMe slots. I want to get an SSD (or 2) so I don't have to worry about running out of space later. I figure I will be sticking with the PS5 for close to 10 years so I want to be ready for the long term.
There is probably no way Sony could cancel that game. If it was 8 yr dev cycle for that game, then it was in development for 7 yrs before Sony bought that studio. Sony cut their losses very quickly, which makes sense to me. Let this be a lesson - focus on shooters with a single player campaign and optional co-op. And throw Marathon, Concord, these types of trend chase games in the trash.

I'm going to wait. Sony's PlayStation 5 has a small library of games that can utilize it's power and Sony's Pro model will have a slightly larger library that will utilize the hardware/software.
They should of invested in a new Starsiege Tribes game instead, that game needs to come back.
I have a ps5 and a pc 4080 super on gamepass. The pc is fine but has wierd things that go wrong here and there. One game crashes with no way for me to figure out why. I never had these problem on consoles. But on pc I can do uevr injector virtual reality games.

First Bungie was a total bust now this Fire(whatever) studio next Haven studio (fairgames). Total waste of money. I truely believe these were all panic purchases when they saw Microsoft buying Activision right after Bethesda. Shame Sony is not the company they were last gen. This gen has been pretty crap first party wise. This is what heppens when we have no comp.
I do hope this makes them cancel at least 10 of the live service games they've said they're planning to release by the end of 2026. Yes, the market analysts will show that the highest earning games are all live service, but they didn't all become success stories because they're live service, they succeeded because they offered something players wanted besides that, that they couldn't find elsewhere.
I don't even play these types of games, but I can see how TF2 fans would move to Overwatch or how Fortnite would attract ADHD patients with its unique gimmick of building shit on the fly during combat. What was Concord's selling point? Overwatch, but without the lore?
I still have several ps4/ps5 games still in plastic wrap ....my ps5pro will break these in. Cant wait for pc users to get the new requirements for next 3rd party games coming 6-10 months from now...then whenever sony games are released they'll build some more.

It was the best decision to abandon Concord. Ideally Sony wouldn't have funded the game or even bought Firewalk, but that's gone and done. Best to drop it and don't put good money after a bad product. It's not even worth the server fees or paying devs to support it.
The game is a joke and it's reputation is permanently destroyed. There isn't any bringing it back like No Man's Sky or Cyberpunk 2077. Those games at least were based on interesting ideas.
Best thing for Sony to do is to kick it into the dumpster and be done with it. Maybe in a few years, they can embrace its failure and use it as an object of mockery.
In any event, moving this quick is a sign that Sony certainly took notice. Hopefully this will teach them an important lesson of what games to greenlight and how to look at live service.
Yes, probably for the best, but doesn't detract from SIE poor investment, particularly after acquiring the studio. Not the best start, but I hope the impact on Firewalk studio is minimal.

People need to realize that the Pro is not made for everybody. It’s made for a niche market and only a few people will actually be buying it. Bare in mind that 1 every 5 PS4s was a Pro back when the PS4 Pro was released.
The average gamer won’t be buying a PS5 Pro if we’re being realistic. 🤷🏽♂️ I also predict Sony will be extend the PS5’s life cycle to make up for the years we lost in the pandemic

We know a lot about it, developers aren't making up that they're working on PS5 pro upgrades. Jesus.
All the leaks fpr last year including most recently have been saying it will be 7700xt raster with better raytracing at this point I'd say it's a safe bet that is what it will actually be. It will also have neat software optimization to enable better upscaling so it's raytracing can be decent enough along much better frame-rates.

Damn, I just saw another report claiming it's closer to the 7800 than the 7700, with better ray tracing than both.
It’s more in line with the 7800XT they match across the board both 60 CUs both have 16 GB GDDR6 and bus size 256, except memory bandwidth is 578 GB/s for the pro and 624.1 GB/s 7800xt
The PS5 Pro doesn't have 16gb of vram. It is a shared pool that has to be used elsewhere. It is also power constrained vs. a 7800xt, likely putting it in line with a 7700. The improved RT performance won't matter since there isn't a meaningful bump in total ram. Yes, ML upscaling and raytracing eat up a fair amount of ram that is already at a premium. The best case scenario is that the RT improvements just help it hold framerate better than a PS5 with cleaner image quality due to PSSR.

Not yet. It will when consoles are powerful enough to handle the full feature set. Even the Pro isn't going to be there. The PS5 Pro is going to be exactly like the Pro before it, cleaner image quality, nothing more. They only added enough additional ram to accommodate their ML upscaling. Using more raytracing features also requires additional ram on top of that, more than the average gamer realizes. These rumors are doing the same damage as Microsofts marketing with regards to "full RDNA2." It's just marketing, not magic.

If they're going to debate that they can make APC used make the same amount of graphics as AP. S5 pro, then they should keep it as long as people would play A PS 5 pro we're talking at least 10 years. Because that's what you do with consoles. I hope Sony gives Firewalk a 2nd chance, i didn't think it was a bad game, just not something im interested in playing. I dont play fortnite, apex, cod, overwatch .... basically the majority of pvp titles.
Warframe, nms, Destiny, helldivers, first descendent, these are the game directions Sony should aim their live service.
Good stories with regular drops.
Imagine a live service of games built around Horizon, last of us, unchartered. There is no need to worry about superpowers, etc. Just weapons and gadgets.

But your videos have become so long winded because you take incredibly long to get to the point at each time you mention a topic. You also repeat the same line a few times about your topics which doesn't make sense.
Also, then you sound like you're moving into a new topic you then bring it back to an earlier one again and it makes me feel like why don't you just finish commentary on one thing at a time then move on?
Example, spoke about concord with road map etc, moved onto halo infinite, went full circle back to concord and brought up the same points as previously mentioned.
At this point I lose interest in your video or the news you have to offer from your title. So in this video I'm not going to continue watching to see what you have to say about PS5 pro etc because I'm too afraid that the first topic about concord is gonna come up yet again.
