$119 is steep for a bus ride of this length--True, you get a cushy seat, free drinks, snacks and a sandwich PLUS an unplanned pull-over to confirm a warning tire pressure light! Living in the Houston area, I"m surprised the driver didn't take I-10 west to 610 north over to 290 and head northwest. So a shuttle of sorts from one Hyatt Regency to another Hyatt Regency--the clientele on board certainly don't have the look of Greyhound hoi-polloi! I've been to the Houston Greyhound terminal at 5am to drop off a co-worker so he could see family in San Antonio and it is SPOOKY to observe weird characters hanging out that time of day! I have no need for 'designer' water such as Fiji or Perrier as you desire. The BIG question here is "How to get home?" $238 RT for an out n back trip is pricey--what is the frequency of HOU-AUS trips?
I enjoy reading your comments! Very insightful. Per day, there are seven buses that departs from Houston to Austin (first bus departs at 7:00 am and last bus departs 5:30 pm).
wow 😲 I know that Bus 🚌 ride is going to be so nice and comfortable thank you for sharing.nice video and so cool 😎 with me.with so much love 💕 Ms Joy 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I used to live in SF (exactly in the Mission District) and remember taking BART everyday. Missed those days but I’m planning to visit Bay Area soon…sadly the old BART trains retired.
Beats flying by far. Driving your own car would cost less, but is more stressful. I have used Vonlane several times and think it is a great deal. Wish they would serve Houston to New Orleans.
But the view is awesome Katie, smh lol. I’m sure there’s other videos out there from other people that will show the trays and other perks go there instead of complaining here. Or better yet why don’t you make a video about this and show us all the trays and perks? Looool
Def gonna look into this service, so glad YT recommended this vid. Thanks for sharing!
Professional driver, driving in the passing lane. Hurts!
I like this 👍🏽
Great video as always :)
Thank you!
Glad that you arrived safe from the carcinogenic coastline to the People's Republic of Austin.👍🏻
Let me guess...you got this quote from Bernie Movie - Map of Texas: th-cam.com/video/JREkqCvLzSo/w-d-xo.html

I need this ride but from a IAH to Austin or Round Rock.

I agree with the route comment, but I'm guessing tolls had something to do with the route of choice after punching in Austin on Google Maps.
Great video!
Thanks!
Nice video
Thank you.
Houston next weekend for me🤠
Awesome!

Thank you very much Ms. Joy!
Awesome mci j4500 mu favorite charter bus
Great buses and good choice for Vonlane.
Yup that's true awesome video
What's up, man! It was kind-of a scary trip, when there was an issue on the tire! Imagine if the incident was real, then it would be like Halloween! 👻
What’s up! I know…it was a close call and it would be inconvenient to wait for another bus out of the middle of the journey.
Looks like a cool bus and a nice ride! Are you doing cap metro vedios again?
Yes. I will be doing CapMetro videos for November and parts of December.
Houexplorer-hiya!, thank you~ epic . see you later~
Howdy 🤠 and thank you
Greyhound should really take notes buses are nasty look old I say at a seat where the window seal was gone and air coming in. Seat plugs were loose
Do they just stick with the southern states or have they ever gone to the northern states as well?
For now, Vonlane on serves Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia. I am hoping that this service will expand to more states in the future.
You should go to San Francisco, and take the BART, Caltrain & Muni trains. It is a city in the west coast with the advanced transit system.

I wouldn’t shit in California. Between the street inhabitants and the ‘mos, The “Golden State” is nothing more than an open sewer.
I'd take this ride...hope it expands to other cities.
everything you need is in austin, don't trip
@@tnnsboy18 not everything is in Austin so you stop Trippin😂

When are you traveling out of Texas?
I’m planning to travel to Orlando and Miami in December.
I expected you to show us the trays, how far seats go back, or any other perks, not the view.

Does the bus stop at a Buc-ees?
Good question! Unfortunately no. All Vonlane bus routes are nonstop.
Interesting travel alternative I suppose but I gotta say, it sure didn’t look very clean in there post trip.
✌🏾
Could you do a long video going to Long Beach
Yes. When I return to LA, I'm planning to do a full round trip on the A Line.
Exploreeer 😃
Howdy 🤠
Nice video. However I'd rather go to Dallas or New Orleans. Two hours and change doesn't seem like enough time to enjoy the ride.
I 100% agree! The ride was comfortable and relaxing...wish it was longer.
