- Hey guys thanks for watching! I recently bought a new set of JCW big brake kit and realised that I have to source for new wheels again!
My first set was bought with the impression that I will NOT buy the brake system. But as it goes, I now have to get a different measurement wheels. So I'm sharing here my personal observations and challenges when purchasing a suitable set of wheels.
Some notable mentions : you can consider OZ Racing and Rays too. But best to still bring the car over and actually fit it on.

Thank you very much, appreciate it. For my front hood + spoiler + rear diffuser, they are sold by a friend. Inspired by Duell AG design. As for my front lip + side skirt in this video, they're just universal kits found locally.
I did 17x8 with ET +35 & put 215/45R17. No issues. Yes they are very difficult to figure out.

Thanks man. So far my buddies are using H&R springs mostly. Some have used Eibach but according to them H&R is more comfortable
Hi bro, thanks for sharing. I’m running on 18x8 ET45. The front protrude out a bit but slightly less than yours. I’m going to install ST XTA coilover cause it comes with front adjustable camber which I may need in case the front tires run the fender when lowered. Have you install your coilover and will be good to share your experience how you navigate your front tires from rubbing since it looked quite outwards. Thanks.
Hi bro. Yes the front camber will surely help to avoid that rubbing against the arch. I have not installed my front camber but I am already running KW V3 on the car. My other members with camber are not facing this issue, given that you still cannot really lower the car too much

What size is your tyres? Looks good on the wheel arch. Haven't lowered right?

I think you can. Cooper S stock tyres are 205 45 17 runflats

Hello.. I have seen a 2013 countryman s sit on E92 M3 . But I’m not sure what size he used. Doesn’t state specs on his set up. I’ve looked around and people say they won’t fit. I really like the look and how can I go about it? What’s your opinion on something like that. The video I’ve seen is 8 years old .. it’s on TH-cam
If im not mistaken most bmw wheels are staggered. Rears are wider than fronts

With tire size 225/45/17
Can you think that you can put it?
I think should be okay. My personal opinion, 1) if want to look nice, then 8jj with 225 tyres are wide and thick. But potential for rubbing against fender arch. Or you can consider 2) 17x7.5j et37 around there with 215 tyres for less chance of rubbing.
But regardless. Bring the car to wheel shop and try to fit the wheel of your choice, not all wheels can clear the JCW brake kit
Hello, I recently experienced the same situation with my mini 17’ spoke rims, I have another set of wheels which are 18x8 5-112, ET45, do they fit with the jcw brakes kit?
Best answer is to fit the actual rims on to the car. The sizing alone might not be the answer
Hey brother, I just bought a 2023 mini cooper se, do you think I can go with 18x8 , 245, 40 R18
I doubt it...even 235 is quite hard to fit. Might need to add spacers or what not, due to tyres touching the suspensions. And SE cars regardless of brand, need to have certain type of wheels.

Those were 18x8.5 et35 pcd 5x112 bro. Not using anymore now. Too wide, rubbing fender after lowered the car
