* Mistake I said the front facing cam is 32 MP like the 10 Pro but its not. It's 16 MP but as you can see in the tests they look very similar. What do you guys think of the OnePlus 10T? It's been almost 6 months since I've reviewed a phone. Kind of missed it!

U clearly missed one comparison that is heating issue on 10 pro.... For long gaming sessions, 10 pro starts dropping fps... Which is not justified for the price point..

I prefer tonally flatter, sharper images. Optical zoom is nice, but in a zoom lens, there are tradeoffs (same as in standalone cameras). Don't care about wireless charging or alert slider, care about efficiency, heat diss., battery longetivity, computing power, can't see diff between screen res., hate curved screen and wireless charging both a gimmick imho.
Flat screen is more important to me than alert slider. I have my phone on silent 99.9% of the time.

You should comment more about the efficiency of the 8+ gen 1. The bigger battery capacity means nothing on the 10 pro because the 8+ gen 1 has better cooling and is overall more efficient
i have the 9R and i think its the best phone ive used yet.
everything is just what i needed.
super vibrant display and smooth enough even if i dont use the 120hz.
battery and charging is very nice too
another important thing i liked is the speaker at the top front of the display.
it somehow gives me a better experience when watching videos compared to other phonez ive seen..
and also when talking on calls the voice of the other person is loud and clear due to this. thats very inportant for me.
i dont think there r too many other phones with this kind of speaker placement.
anyway now im very impressed with the specs of the 10 pro and tempted to go for it.
but a bit confused about this color OS thing.
are there any major problems expected in the future of one plus ? are we going to get bloatware etc included later or anything like that ?

@@jamesphillips2734 I think it's still great. It's not the best ever phone or anything, but it is crazy powerful. The camera's aren't the best, but they're in my opinion close to the iphone or the oneplus 10 pro. I'll definitely be happy using it for the next 2-3 years.
Nice review Matt without the negativity that is around about it. Personally, I prefer the Pro model as a more complete option but I know many who will not mind the trade of the missing stuff of the alert slider and the Hass logo for a better gaming and charging perfomance.

8:07 battery it's not iPhone 13 pro max good but you can charge it for 5 minutes and have twice as battery life as iphone 13 pro max and also don't forget iphone still costs 1300$
Watching on my OP 7T Pro McLaren and I think I'll jump the 10T since I'm already use to just bringing my Charger anyway and Juicing when I'm under 40% by that time shifts almost done and I have juice well until bedtime. Warp speed gang for life

When recording at 60fps, at 1080 or 4k, which phones camera lenses seamlessly stay at 60fps when switching through them while recording?
I have the oneplus nord ce at the moment and I'm thinking of switching to 10T. I've never heard of this alert slider before, so not a problem for me.
Those front facing camera audio recordings are pretty dang good. Just came from the pixel 6a/6 pro video. Not even a comparison. Can't wait for the 10T to hit. Cooling goes a long way working outside here in Phoenix. Iphones and pixels aren't great when they're thermal throttling. Had both and moved on.

Having a high ambient temperature will make it difficult for anything to cool well without liquid or LN2.
Still loving my 1+ 7Pro with it's hideaway front facing camera.
Same here, I rarely use the front camera (twice a year, maybe) so it's nice that it's tucked away. My 7 pro is still running great too, as far as I know anyway, there are no performance or any other issues that ever make me think "it's probably time to get new/upgrade my phone"
I keep triggering the alert slider into modes I don't want it to be when it is in my packet without a case.
It does seems in your video that you have tried hard and provided Honest review, I dont know if any1 will say this, but you deserve better recognition, Good Luck buddy for kinda honest n great Video. Additionally I m also thinking to go for 10 pro, coz wireless charging and Alert Slider seems much better, rest will decide in a week before I really get my hands on 1 of those. ❤️

The 16GB version is great. It fully charges in 20 minutes, so who needs wireless charging? The slider is useless to me and I prefer flat a screen. I just wish they went full full-on Samsung style, and placed the volume control on the right side.
Yeah I don't understand why it's on the left, I'm about to go for the 10t getting used to those volume buttons is going to suck. Everything is on the right on my current redmi device

10 pro overall os better phone than 10 T. But 10 T is a real one plus phone ! Fast processor, fast charging, smoothness and for the first time the last 2 or three years is the real and ultimate flagship killer phone...remember one plus fans...we loved this company because was the real flaghip deal!!

I bought the 10t. I paid $649. I also bought the OnePlus phone case for the 10t called the glacier mat. This provides additional cooling. And the phone case has openings on the side, these openings help you get clearer 5g signals to the antennas which are placed 360 degrees on the outer edges.
This camera on the 10t is fantastic. It has an IMX 766 sensor which is ranked top six out of the best 50 sensors on latest smart phone cameras. It's a great gaming phone adreno 730, I can charge 67% in 14 minutes. And has an amazing cooling mechanism built in the phone which actually gives you more battery life when compared to the 10 pro. Who needs wireless charging when I can charge my phone 100% in 20mins.
You can't have everything, you can always spend $1,400 for the new iPhone or Samsung S22 ultra. Keep in mind the charger that you get with the 10t and the charging cable is worth about $65 by itself. I got this phone last week and I've already updated its Android 13 and iOS 13.
For the price and everything else, this phone is worth its weight in gold. Don't forget the RAM is 16GB. The 10 pro has 12 GB Ram. And the new Snapdragon 8 plus gen one is 30% cooler and 10% faster with CPU and GPU.

People want everything nowadays. Back then a galaxy s7 edge was £500+. I found the 10T for £440.

I would give away the slider for a 20 minute charge. I usually finish my shower or a meal in 20 minutes or less. And in daily use that 20 minute full backup would make a lot of sense.
The 10 pro can charge in 30 minutes tho so also not long

Some info on price points. I have a 1+ 7T but it's having some corrosion issues on USB after 3 years in humid Savannah Ga. not to mention working as a chef (no IP rating but it's been a beast) & a few screen scratches. The reason I mention this is that 1+ on their website is offering up to a $100 trade in for that 3-year-old phone (after inspection?) not to mention free OnePlus Buds Z2 & a case. I am sold-ish, the 16gb-256 is $100 more @ $749.
On amazon its $649(limited deal), I keep my old phone, but no free stuff mentioned above.
Or do I go for 8mb-128 and get the free stuff and get that version with trade in from1+ for (possibly) $549. hmmmmmm

The 80W charger that comes with the 10 Pro was also changed to USB A. 10T charger is back to USB C. 🤷♂️

1440p is the most important to me. Camera means nothing to me when it comes to looking at a phone. I almost never use the alert slider on my 7 Pro. Going to order the 10 Pro this week

What about haptics on 10t? Oneplus is well know for making their vibration motors with very nice feeling.

You may not be aware of this but, they didn't just simply remove the hasselblad branding from the back of the phone. In fact, the 10t does not have a hasselblad camera system. That is another huge difference between the 10t and the 10 Pro and you didn't even mention it in the video. Moreover, the finish on the back of both phones really depends on the color that you get. If you purchase the 10 Pro with the emerald-green it's going to be a smoother glass-like feel but, if you purchase the volcanic black it has a matte finish. There is the same difference between the two colors on the 10t.
I recently needed to purchase a new phone and these two were the ones that I was looking at. Ultimately, even though the 10t has a slightly better processor the 10 Pro one out due to its wider variety of features. The T and 10T stands for turbo. To that end, OnePlus concentrates on speed and performance and cuts away a lot of other features like wireless charging and quad HD display. While I absolutely love my 8T I really wanted to have a pro variant this go around. In addition, I really didn't care for the center hole camera punch in the middle of the screen, plastic frame and the lack of a slide selector switch for the ringer.

Choosing between s22+ ,one plus10t,10pro ,pixel7 and oppo findx5 pro.. like s22+ most but I feel the price is over charged.
S22+ is better than those listed. If you can find the S22+ for a similar price then it's the better choice out of all, especially that camera which makes the biggest difference
How about the heating?
My OP 9 Pro gets sooo hot, and i cant sit outside in 25 degress in my yard without it saying its to hot (not even in direct sun)

Got my 10T yesterday I think. And I’ve only spent about 30 min with it so far.
Been an iPhone user for years now and android has changed a bit since I last had one. So most of that time was spent just trying to find where things have been moved to.
I do like the simplicity of the UI on the 10T. The overwhelmingly complicated UI of Samsung devices just gives me a brain tumor. One reason why iOS is so attractive. It’s simple, it works, and from iPhone to iPhone it’s the same.
You can not say that between android devices. Almost without exception, every android brand has a completely different UI and going from one to another can be a nightmare.
Once I get a case on the 10T I plan on getting to know it better, but the green model is Teflon slick in my hands and I don’t have carpeted floors. So case is crucial.
Also. I personally think the 10Pro and T are gorgeous devices and the mockups of the upcoming 11 model is no slouch. Where looks are concerned. Apple needs to be paying attention to OP.

Pretty obvious. 9pro has much better cameras. BUT 9pro battery life is a lot worse than 10T
I am using OnePlus 10 pro from last 1 year and it still runs so smooth, the only reason i chose this phone is its camera, Awsome camras
Got a case and a Mint Mobile sim.
MM being a TMobile MVNO gives me great pause. Prier to the merger with Sprint TM sucked. No signal penetration to speak of. My personal, family and friends and coworkers all hated their TMOBILE service and all except one dumped TM for cricket, the one other continues to sign contracts with ATT. So far MM has been good. No problems with signal dropping out when I go in to the bank.
The only reason I have mint is because cricket will not support OnePlus devices. Even the phones they say they support I can not get activated. So since TM is supposed to work on all of them. I went with a MVNO.
Ok… been on MintMobile on the 10T/Pro the phones performance is very good.
In fact better than Cricket/ATT half the time.
Yesterday at work I got 4 bars on MM at a property that is normally a cellular black hole. If we know someone is going to that property we let them call us when they leave.
Have noticed that the fingerprint reader on both phones is hit and miss. Face ID works much better but requires light in order for the camera to identify you. Pass word has worked perfectly. As Apple doesn’t have a under the screen fingerprint reader I won’t compare. iPhone Face ID works day or night and without any light the OP must have light, and I recommend you have a bright Lock Screen wallpaper to provide that light at night time.
Again. I’m a iPhone/iPad user. And everything gets judged against them.
The 10T/Pro are good, and I suspect that is more to do with the Oxygen UI than it has to do with android. OP seems to have modeled OUI after how iOS looks and works. Which is great for a iPhone user. Kept the learning curve down and makes using the 10T/Pro more enjoyable.
Watching on my 10T and I couldn't be happier. I love the performance and battery. Had a 7pro. I don't get the hate.
With all the love i had to OnePlus, taking out slider for fast charging is the biggest bullshit that i ever hear on tech world. Even taking a headphone jack for biggest battery have more sense. Space what that slider take is a cutoff on frame and like 0.2mm additionally what's anyway too close to frame to be taken by anything else.
I much rather take faster charging over slider 🤷
@@davidkosiba624 i have a OP8 with 30W charger and I'm using that just time to time, when it's really needed. For rest of cases I'm charging with 10-20W. I don't see a sense of charging over 30W at it's for most of phones around 1C charging, everything above is degradation battery livetime. I would like to have a wireless charger to use it in car/office. And as i mention, taking out a slider its nothing more that cutting cost, there are no real engineering benefits out of that.
@@Kopcio01 you can always replace the battery you know. I've had the 8T since launch so almost 2 years and I have the same SOT and always charged with 65w. This is 2022, who has time for charging!
I get my 10 pro at this date day have it on 550.00 quick fast charger is what's make it way better phone.

Ive still got my Oneplus 7 mclaren & Oneplus 8t.I just got the Galaxy 22 ultra and honestly the 22Ultra isnt enough of an upgrade if anything its a DOWNGRADE to either the the Ultra or Oneplus 10..any type🙄
I'm still using my 6T. I've had an iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy S22 and somehow I just keep on using my oneplus. I've sold the iPhone and my S22 literally lays beside my bed with the battery drained. I'm offered a new phone from work, so I guess it's time for a new Oneplus. I'm leaning towards the 10 Pro because I am a heavy user of the slider.

No good connection on 10T where I am. I used many other devices and this by far is the worst. Software has issues as well with apps.

This antutu scores are almost similar to my 2 year old S21 ultra Exynos model.
Antutu scores change in each version. The Snapdragon 888 is inferior to the 8 plus gen 1 in every single way

The 10T is by far the best value. It was £440 last week. The 10 pro has not dipped below the £600 mark it's always closer to £700 still. 150w charging makes wireless charging useless. If you're in a rush and about to go on a long trip it literally takes less than 20 minutes to charge and lasts almost 2 days on regular use. The 10T has better battery optimization than the 10 pro. More RAM, almost identical cameras if you take the telephoto lens out of the equation. Basically the 10T sucks for zooming, everything else is identical.
I did not know that alert sliders could walk... Let's call them alert walkers :)

The 10T looks slightly wider than the pro, and the camera square looks a little larger as well. Am I seeing this right Matt? This is important for me and my decision to preorder right now or not. Thanks Matt!!

I have the 10 pro, I kinda wish I tried the 22 ultra in person first but I like it, I get 66w charging, just miss the dual speaker on the bottom of the phone, I also have a OnePlus 7, works perfect still, I just accidentally deleted all 2000 of my songs and gotta butthurt and bought a new phone 😭😂

I like the 10 pro better but sadly I bought it for $899 when It bearly came out lol😌
does the phone have those heating issues any more?? cause it used to heat up pretty faast while gaming acc to yt....
So then the 10 pro is slightly beveled? That's a huge turn off for me. I'm in the stone age and don't use wireless charging. I'm more focus on cracking my screen when I drop it, haha
