    I pre-ordered the 10T the second orders opened to upgrade from a 7T. OnePlus had a pre-order deal in North America (maybe others too) where they discounted the 16GB version to match the price of the 8 GB version (8GB was not discounted at all). Common critiques about the alert slider getting removed and no wireless charging don't bother me. I've never really used the alert slider. 99.9% of the time my phone is on vibrate, and the wireless charging isn't something I care about. People also complain about the 10T camera, but it'll be better than my 7T, so to me that is a win. I'm happy about finally having a phone with 5G.

    I think that One+ moving away from their hard to please niche techie demographic that are always complaining is a good move. The OP10T may be more generic but as sales have been doing really well, it is a smart move to go for the bigger audience.
    For the price, it is comparable with many rivals and gets 4-years software support and the latest SD8+G1, even Samsung, who is loved by YT, has not bothered giving current consumers and option of a candy bar SD8+G1 with its better efficiency. So kudos to One+, this is a good phone and I would easily choose over the Pixel 6 or S21FE.

    • @yincimaster8530
      @yincimaster8530 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is exactly what BBK wanted. Another OPPO style phone that just sells well. Money over people's wishes. What's the point? Just remove Oneplus altogether and just sell OPPO devices. 1+ has lost its core identity. No point in buying a 1+ over an OPPO because OPPO at least has their software sorted.
      And "hard to please"? Not at all. The true 1+ community is easy to please. 1+ just stopped bothering to be good.

    • @andyH_England
      @andyH_England 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@yincimaster8530 The One+ fandom was small and One+ had become just for fans and that meant financially they were struggling, hence the merger with OPPO. It was unsustainable just focusing on fans like you and now they are offering a more generic lineup, that is doing well in its early days.
      You have to survive in the cut-throat world of smartphones. e.g. LG would not change, just catering to the tiny crowd that loved their DAC and SD card, but of course, loss after loss and RIP LG.
      One+ are surviving and if that means upsetting a tiny minority then so be it. Better than going bust sometime in the medium term.

    I just purchased a 10t(16gb RAM version) for $605 on eBay, as a backup phone. Am I the only one who's happy the alert slider is gone? I just wish they put the volume control on the right with the power button. But 16gb RAM, 150w charging, cooling tech and Snapdragon 8+ gen 1, for that price is a bargain. Not sure where the hate is coming from. It will be interesting to compare it to my S22 Ultra.

    1) It’s got a decent Camera,As shown in the video. No one uses macro all the time,no bs there.
    2)Alert slider was seen as a OnePlus feature,yes…I use an IPhone and I use the mute switch once a day…so removing it won’t really put me in trouble,so stop over reacting about it.
    3)look at the battery performance. A gaming phone which full charges in 20 mins…and good battery health engine.
    4)Good Cooling

    Moved the hole punch to the middle which is awkward to look at knowing it's a OnePlus device. Then removing the alert slider. The OS is colorOS.
    If I'll be picking between the 10T and the 10Pro, I'll pick the 10Pro, it has the alert slider, and is more "OnePlus" looking/feeling.

      Those features, the slider, the selfie cam in the middle, and the color OS. Damn dude, could you pick any more trivial features to bitch about? Lol
      Those, and the wireless charging, are the most minimal life enhancing features on the entire phone. First off, you don't lose those features of the alert slider... You simply have to go to the touchscreen button to touch it. The hole's in the middle instead of off to the side! That makes no difference at all! 🙄
      The OS is slightly different, but I hear there are actually some pretty cool new features from that change. And complaining about the tiny changes to the OS is kinda nit picking. 🤷
      The big thing is, is how incredibly the deal is now on that phone in excellent used condition!!! I just picked one up in August of 2024 for a mere $190 shipped in "mint" condition! Damn, what a steal!
      Please try to understand... The T versions from OnePlus are their way of giving you great value and superb performance for a much lower price! A Great Value! 😎🤘

    Folks, can you help me. It's not about OnePlus 11 but 10T.
    My OnePlus 10T is taking 27-28 min to charge from 1% to 100% using 160W supervooc charger. It's a 3 month old handset. Not long ago, it was taking 22 minutes. Now the difference is only 5-6 minutes delay, so wish to ask this forum, if it's normal or most of you are still getting mobile charged in ~22 minutes. Moreover, I could feel that mobile gets a bit warmer and charger gets slightly hot by the time it gets fully charged. Once charged, the mobile is working fine and does not discharge battery fast. Appreciate input from this forum.

And they have clearly optimized that old 50mp OIS Sony sensor to max as we can see on this video as it loses to 10 Pro only in lack of a proper tele lens. Light green model looks cheap even plastic on backside buy that other model is amazing in matte moonstone black. A decent good offering by OnePlus and great value too ✌️.

    Speaking from my experience and many of my colleagues in the same industry.... BETTER COOLING
    having access to a budget gaming phone means access to flagship specs processors at budget price which means better cooling.... when 99% of your work is in the outside with harsh elements it helps to know your phone won't heat up and stop responding when you need it most!
