The reason could be because we have a tablet. They do like apple make seperated version for phone and tablet, so we will see the new features in future updates but we will receive later. There smartphone market is bigger atm then tablet so be patient. Hope this information helped answering your questions.

I didn't get any of the feature updates in the Global MIUI rom. So be aware that if you have a global version, none of these will appear. It looks just the same as Miui 12.5 and Miui 13.
For Me too. There is nothing and i ask them, they say some features are only for chinese version rom... Its not fair at all. At least there must be some thing in global version some thing in chinese version not all personalization features are for chinese rom... After updating my themes not work properly too. All off my theme's icon are disable... How can i go back to previous version😑 ?

Im quite disappointed, specially I am looking forward to the feature where I can disable the restart and power off button. The only difference from 13 to 14 is the folder edit, not a fan honestly

Now my xiaomi 12t is running MIUI 14 but sadly this changes is not available, the only available is to create a big folder at the home screen, and also security patch, the rest is still like a MIUI 13, i think its only for a pro version of xiaomi phone and that is sad.
Some of these MIUI 14 features might not be available on Global ROMS. Maybe yes or maybe not. We're not sure. We all know that Global ROM units are Xiaomi's least favorite son.
Just got my poco F4 gt miui 14 update today (Sep 14, 2023) and don't have all these features mentioned. I don't even see any difference from miui 13, and i've checked and confirmed that it is running on miui 14. No idea what is going on

So basically nothing interesting really, and almost all I wouldn't even notice. I'm hoping it fixes some other annoying quirks and gives more options like Samsung phones. Like how the silent or do not disturb modes can only be set for pre set lengths of times, like 30 mins, 2 hours, or 8 hours, why not let me drag it however long I want? Like If im going to sleep for 7 hours let me set it for 7 hours not 8! Why force me to those times.

Maybe at a later time they'll add the rest of the things, or you can try to find an apk file online for the apps to get everything thats new.

1. Google Lens is already in 12.5.5.
2. The Sensors off feature in Miui 13 became Incognito mode in 14. Same function.

You can set turn on and turn off time for Do Not Disturb mode

Go to setting>digital wellbeing & parental controls>bedtime mode. Like just look through all the features first before using a phone like normal
