I'm in two minds. There's giving you more control over your phone and there's adding more features that are sometimes pointless. An example is MiUi have several separate settings to silence the phone, which basically complicates things and stops the facility working properly.

More than popularity is slickness. iPhone has a tight grip on the elegance market. You buy an Iphone for status, not for the phone itself, so it's understandable for companies to try and recreate that look.
@@gyre253Google Pixel 7/8 Pro are pretty much the best out there atm imo. Insane cameras. I don't need anything fancy though, I think flagship phones have hit a ceiling whered there's less and less to improve on, giving mid-range phones a lot more space to improve, which is why I settled for the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro. Has everything I need. Unless you're constantly taking pics every day then i don't think there's any need for a flagship.

It has way less restrictions than xiaomi :) Xiaomi OSes are extremely frustrating to use and I have to deal with the fact that XIAOMI has the worst background process killer. Yes, you should get a pixel! It's stable and doesn't slow down older phones purposely when you update

A day ago i installed this HyperOS with a bit of confusion for experience degradation as often happens with Xiaomi updates, but proving me wrong it's a whole another level of experience I have ever felt from any Xiaomi device! My 11T PRO now gives me ULTRA PRO MAX level of Experiences!❤

You can deinstall it and go back to miui, so dont cry about nothing. The thing is you will lose all your data so you need to copy important staff... How to do it...turn off the phone...press volume up and turn on button together, hold untill the screen shows MI, then let all buttons ...you have the menu then...anyway they are videos on youtube ,how to deinstall hyper Os or Downgrade as they say...cheers ..
What I suggest is to COPY everything from iOS and maybe even some other OS and bring us the best . Companies should copy one another and make tech better for us . Because all of em wants to take our money no matter what

Installed it on my Redmi Note 12 today. I like the animation at the top of the screen when the charger is plugged in. I also like being able to change the clock font on the lock screen. Homescreen looping would have been a great addition...
@@filipteo77, manually checked for updates and it was there. It installed Hyper OS and Android 14 at the same time. It's in the Settings. Don't be afraid to look around. You can't make the phone yours if you don't go into Settings and Permissions and see what's what.
The biggest feature is that it's based of stock AOSP, so it bypasses all the Google crap baked into Android that's distributed to OEMs, and that it's fresh so it doesn't have all the bloated code that MIUI has accumulated over the last dozen years.
Apple copied some features of Xiaomi like superwallpaper Xiaomi copied apple Samsung copied apple but can't able to copy it's smoothness in animations 😂
HyperOS 2.0 needs to "get inspired" by OneUI or OxygenOS especially the quick settings & notification panel/shade, also xiaomi pls stop force closing apps in the background it defeats the purpose of 6gb & more ram

There's 1 cons in HyperOS which is that now we can't hide unwanted apps from App Drawer. In MIUI's Poco launcher earlier, it was possible to hide any Apps from App Drawer but not anymore.
After 6 years of frolicking with iPhone, i finally dump it for Redmi Note 13 and i must confess, it has been a wonderful experience. I got the HyperOS update and i was waoed. The multitasking is superb and the colour separate is beautiful. The OS is smoother and it was a perfect experience cor anyone coming from iOS devices.
*Bugs encountered in Poco F5 after Hyper OS update:* 1. Proximity sensor malfunction during calls (screen turns on unintentionally) 2. Lock screen clock malfunction 3. Call recording issues (incomplete/corrupted recordings) 4. Power button inconsistency (unresponsive) 5. Second space lag 6. Unstable 5G connection Hopefully Xiaomi releases a software update to fix these issues soon!

As a Xiaomi user, I'm also sitting back, because I'm waiting for the HyperOS to come to my Redmi. My verdict: 1. Same as in the vid, I can't wait for the lock screen customisation. Great thing! For me especially, because I really love to customise my phone. 2. I like the MIUI icons much much much ... more than the HyperOS ones. I don't know why, but I think the camera len on HyperOS is too big, scanner icon time traveled to 2014, Clock is a bit less simplier, Settings are too much "Apple-like", Themes - unsimplified, Compass too dark, Calculator not as bad but less simple too, and Mi Remote too dark, just like compass. I love the Gallery and Weather, those 2 are clean and simple, just how I like it. *Please Xiaomi, add an option to choose between the MIUI 14 and HyperOS icons in the next HyperOS update.* Many people would customise their phones even more to their liking! 3. Much smoother animations. They look great, and when they are smoother, they're faster. 4. The "Samsung style" bottom bar buttons In my opinion, not the greatest step. *We should get the MIUI 14 ones back like an option to choose between,* just like I said about the icons. Many people would make their phone "Their second me" 5. The Always-On lockscreen. Great idea! I have no words for that! @@KabeeshS after updated it via updater, the battery is not good for my 2 days usage. But i did reset my phone after that and the battery much better. Compared between MiUI & HyperOS there's no significant difference in battery consumption. The obvious change is HyperOS made my phone more optimized and more fluent in any aspect such as : file load, animation, UI&UX, customization, and Multitasking is better keeping many apps unclosed..
Doesn't matter who says whatever about Xiaomi. But HyperOS is way more smoother than MIUI 14. And alot improved than it's rivals

Don't talk early, let's see in the future updates if it is still smooth. MIUi before is smooth but in recent updates it becomes buggy

Already using HyperOS on my Xiaomi 13T. It bring more "flagship" feeling on my phone. But still some features is missing like Super widget and icon not available for Global user
Bro what about battery? The very last miui update got messed up. I now charge two times in a day. The drain is crazy
@@KabeeshS after updated it via updater, the battery is not good for my 2 days usage. But i did reset my phone after that and the battery much better. Compared between MiUI & HyperOS there's no significant difference in battery consumption. The obvious change is HyperOS made my phone more optimized and more fluent in any aspect such as : file load, animation, UI&UX, customization, and Multitasking is better keeping many apps unclosed..

@@KabeeshS absolutely recommend to update to HyperOS. Just wait for the Public Stable if I'm not mistaken the xiaomi 13T would get it in January-March
