That is pretty much still MIUI just with a different name (and maybe better performance on newer models). @@sunrosec I have no idea but it has been like that since before HyperOS and MIUI 14. Basically the Chinese get the ability to customize their icons etc. very close to Google and Samsung options - the global version has none of that and must rely on their Themes app, which is terrible and often doesn't work properly. I don't mind MiUi, but sometimes it feels a bit like a furry overcoat that restricts your movements. I'm currently using a mi pad 6, already updated to hyper os but why is it so lacking than with the phone version, there's not even a theme store! Will it get updated to the one's like the phone's version or not?
i think they will never implement theme store to the pad series, I have the pad 5 which I mainly use for streaming and light gaming so never really cared for the theme store, they do need to improve the home screen launcher tho,
@@Usersf134ssk now I regret buying it, there's little to no freedom of customization ESPECIALLY the font which the most important to me. I use this tab for like everything, work, school, and entertainment so this was not worth it

bro straight up name drops hentai I'm dead
Just got the update today after waiting for a long time. It's butter smooth on Note 13 Pro 5G
Where did the (play sound in background) option go ? It use to be on MUIU and it was great for playing youtube videos in the background... ??? I cant find it anymore
One of my reason not up update 😅
On Redmi note 10, the side bar option I have set it for TH-cam to play it on background while the screen is off, however, for some reason it's not showing that option anymore.
I don't mind MiUi, but sometimes it feels a bit like a furry overcoat that restricts your movements. Being able to customise the camera options will be a joy, because the menus (via the "More" button, or the "Settings" button ) is a pain. The fewer choices the better.
I'd be interested in whether they have ditched any of the (As far as I can tell) three different ways of silencing the phone. Which has left the overnight automatic "Do Not Disturb" functions unusable.
um all the ways of silencing the phone are actually useful lol. here's an easy guide if they seem overwhelming to u:
-vibrate (turn this off if u want all the sound minus the vibration)
-mute(just mutes all the sounds)
-dnd (doesn't notify u about anything, basically turns everything off all at once, its a master switch)
@@cerealwithwarmmilk Not overwhelming, I've used all kinds phones with different set ups 🙂 but too many experiences with MiUi of one option over-riding the other. Even when you haven't set it up to do so and believe me - they do that. Cheers for the advice.
How to get miui 14 back, regret upgrading😢
Use miflash first u need Unlock your bootloader
Why?
I have this type of phone,
But I don't know how to change the voice assistants volume?
There seems to be no such option?
is it expected that redmi note 13 series will get hyper OS and android 14 update in near future ?
yes totally
@@RSCB oh great👍
does this new OS support third party launcher with gesture navigation support ??? or its the same as before, User must use default launcher . any third party launcher will be forced to use button navigation ???
I doubt it, that's why I left Xiaomi. To be fair, I think most Chinese phones don't play nice with 3rd party launchers
No, buttons only. I bought one of these and sent it back as I couldn't use gestures with Nova launcher
Why buy a phone then not use the skin? 😂
@@camotech1314 you might really like the hardware on a device but find certain things irritating about the software. That's the whole point of android phones, you can customise them exactly how you want them
@@camotech1314 not a single mobile company uses Nova launcher as their default .. sad
Only disadvantage is AOD only for 10 seconds otherwise device is good 👍
Hyper os didn't remove that limitation?
@@амиџаа no, maybe a software update can fix that🤬🤬
Why u need more than 10 seconds??
@Azu10157 lmao, why you need to on it all the time?? To waste battery?? You not gonna look it all the time so no need to on it all the time
The higher ends offer "always" option.
1:05 what's the name of the anime character in the wallpaper?
i have xiaomi 14T and i cant find speed dial option. so frustrating. anyone can help?
Ask features seem to be in MIUI already. I'm struggling to see what's new
If you cut off the data connection to the security app the ads stop , same with music and other xiaom apps .
Can you still do screen off TH-cam like miui ?
The only reason I use Xiaomi tbh
Or just use Revanced like a chap.
Just buy TH-cam premium 😅
Yes you can just add TH-cam to the sidebar.
not anymore, that feature is not present in hyperOS
@@jpquinones you serious? Why would they get rid of it 😔
In new HyperOs when we call someone and he pickup the call on the connection the phone does not vibrate ( call connect vibration). So please remind them to include that feature back in this HyperOs with the new update.
Does HyperOS still have hide notch function? 👀
Is "night time charging protection" hardware dependant?
My MI 11 updated to HyperOS 2 days ago, but I don't have a toggle for it on that setting page
No, it's a simple software switch. "Automatically adjust charging duration to preserve battery longevity" is the description of this feature. It stops the charger when the battery is full. Apps from the Play Store do the same thing ;)
Amazing review. Thank you. 11:57
Please tell me your source of wallpapers you use . Mind blowing.
Yes need it, for science 😊
Can you use Gestures navigation with 3rd party launchers?
Does it have a Google Pixel type Call Screening software?
just downloaded it on to my Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, & now I really wished I hadn't have bothered, several things are no longer working, same old shit from a Xiaomi update 😭
Why the turn off screen feature while gaming aren't available in my poco x6 pro?
Some of these features aren't in the global version 😢
Then the initial HyperOS version came to my Poco F5 Pro, sheesh it was a pain, sluggish performance and video audio playback not in sync, needed to constantly reboot. Good thing is that they seem to have noticed it and pushed a patch few weeks later and it is ultra smooth now, really seamless. not a fan of Poco icons tho, good thing HyperOS icons are available in the themes app hehe . Now i'm excited for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Might pull the trigger to the full pledge Xiaomi flagship this year!
My game turbo toolbar don't show like this 7:26 only in English language for me
How do I get "Magazine"? After "Rhobus" i have nothing. On redmi note 13
3:14 😂😂😂😂 very inspirational right there.
Thanks! It's my first time buying a poco phone, or a Xiaomi tho , and it's kinda helped me!
i'd prefer xiaomi
Xiaome really removed some esential features and called it a new os -_-. How is removing the proper playback controlls, support for thirdparty playback controlls and adding a line that randomly interupts scrolling an "update".
can we run an app with side buttons (like double hit the Power button) ?
Do you think HyperOs is good for xiaomi 13T Pro sir?
yes HyperOS reduce lag
I have 13 T pro..i can complain. I had to change the region to Chech republic and there was the Hyperos update imediately.. after updating i puted my region back to germany.. these are slight changes but the batery is very good, lost nothing over night, camera settings nicer, so nothing negative that i can say . Phone is fast...less storage for hyper os. All my apps works as before. Banking and everything.
my magazine lock screen option is not showing up on my hyper os,where do i turn it on or what my be the issue
Any new Motorola phones between £200 and £300 on the horizon? After. Newer G range if possible. On a budget. Ty.
why is it not the same on the redmi 12 even though it has been updated to hyperOs ?
how to change the round ugly app interface? you showed for a brief moment that the apps were square, where can i chenge it? is it on themes or on the configuration?
Change from themes - profile - icon
0:45 room for what again?
Excellent content 👍
Hi how do u bring back the texts of the icons in the drop down on the top right of the phone? Thank you (idk how to say it)
You don't. You can however read what it says when you're setting what to add or remove. There's probably a hidden setting for it, or when in doubt just root and edit em.
Settings > Notifications & Status bar , scroll down look for ( Don't show icon labels) uncheck it , atleast it works for my Redmi Note 12 4G
@@LexaSkye thanks a lot it worked
Hows the battery life SOT on this?
Its horrible, slower fps, camera takes 10s to open, I factory reset and nothing changed
I had no problems with it
@@Schlanster69me too
Didn't face both of your problems
I've found since updating my Xiaomi 13 to Hyper OS some of my apps won't open and you have to reboot the handset. Also the triangular back button sometimes doesn't work!
How to restart mi 12 pro with code power button activating google assistant... Hyper OS installed on mi 12 pro Indian version

Why doesn't it show up for me?
Turn on one handed mode in settings
i followed some indian videos about xiaomi battrey life, it worked!
The lockscreen on the side bar is gone. Can no longer lock screen while playing YT.
@TechSpurt do they still have double User account mode ?
