There are some major problems, the biggest one being extreme stereotyping of a huge amount of people, e.g. the beer, "can you make me food", and the football match. This either reinforces the more general "man" stereotype, purely because that stereotype shares a lot in common with what they are portraying, to the point it seems like they intentionally took that stereotype, or creates an "abuser" stereotype, being actively harmful to those in less obvious abusive relationships who may then fail to identify what an abusive relationship is. There's also a crap ton of minor wording, like the fact that every time they mention abuse, it's man on woman, including always referring to abusers as men (e.g. "Then they can throw him in jail where guys like him belong!" 12:33). Not saying this is legitimately them believing abusive relationships can only be done by a man to a woman, or them intentionally putting it in this video; however, if they want to be as helpful and educational as they claim, then stuff like this is what they _have_ to watch out for. I am not saying that men don't commit abuse, neither am I saying that any of the genders commit abuse more; until sufficient and correct data is available on abuse victims (which most likely will never be as to this day there's still preferential treatment going on), all I am going to say is that there is abuse coming from both genders, as there's nothing more I can know. Its not controversial to say that. Women do commit these crimes against men, but in vastly smaller numbers. You don’t ignore any abuse, but you also don’t ignore that vast majority of the problem is with men and how they are raised in society that contributes to this hugely disproportional outcome.
I know these things are made as cheap and quickly as possible, but would it kill them to just have a little bit of powder for the actors' faces? Everyone looks so greasy.
