No stress has ever overcome me than the stress in the moment The Mom told them her flight leaves in 45 minutes. I don’t think she even has a flight. She’s seeing her secret other son.
An apartment that is so close to an airport that you can leave home, drive to the airport, park at the airport, get inside, go through security, get to the right terminal, and be on the plane in just 45 minutes
I don't get why the kid had to die for this plan. I mean, the babysitter was already going to be a suspect when the mother would soon find out she lost so much money suddenly. She's only making her situation ten million times worse for herself.
@@streeterville773 It’s like how if you want to throw a good punch, you need to cock your arm and swing it around in circles a few times before throwing it
I feel like the script got changed from a few hours of babysitting to a couple of days after someone realised the kid was too old. That explains the weird rush to their plan despite them having literal days to search the place. I mean just take the kid out for a couple hours tomorrow to a park or restaurant or whatever and have the boys come search the place in the meantime.
The kid's acting reminds me of an old western. The acting is just so soulless. Not to mention, he was never in any danger. With how long he was struggling, his head was still above water
14:00 After somehow going from home to being on a plane in less than an hour, she lands somewhere close enough to conveniently and immediately get a flight back home the exact same day wearing the exact same clothes.
WHAT CENTURY DO THESE PEOPLE LIVE IN?! seriously if someone has millions of dollars it'd either be in their bank account and on the rarest of occasions held at a bank but that's pushing it.
Have GenHope videos actually helped anybody? The characters/scripts are so brazen to the point that they seem actively determental to whatever GenHope is trying to teach. Like yeah don't hire someone who'll try to drown your child no shit, but it does nothing to teach you any steps that you can take to prevent someone like that from getting into your home in the first place. Even just a small bit at the end about checking the information someone gives you (especially now with social media) would go a long way
How does the mom telling the lesson at the end even help? She says we should be careful about who watches our kids but the mom checked her references, what more can someone really do unless they're a mind reader?
This entire story made so little sense. The babysitter scammer wanted to steal a bunch of money from this woman who is on a multi-day trip. Her best course of action would be to earn the trust of the child, thereby making him less likely to suspect her. Once the kid has been placated with pizzas and movies and stuff, she could attempt to locate the money and, once discovered, keep it hidden. Then she could just continue her babysitting job until the mother gets back and then be on her merry way. If she did things in that fashion, she'd at least have a small headstart before the mother notices her money toolbox is empty. Instead, it seems like her initial plan was to confine the kid to his room, find the money and just ditch him, which would ultimately get her into more hot water legally for abandoning a child. But when that plan failed, she decides to instead murder the kid, and had THAT gone through, she'd get a life sentence! These videos are great.
I could never watch these videos on my own because they consistently are able to get the most talentless actors in the world to an extent that it’s almost impressive
This plan is fucking awesome. She found a like pretty wealthy lady. Just assumed she didn't use a bank for her money. Gave that lady multiple friends' contact information. Then rather than taking her time antagonized a child who was wildly forgiving. Escalated to murder for literally no reason. Didn't flee the scene.
I love that they made zero effort to hide that the kid was in 3'1" of water... in three separate shots. (about 94cm for folk that use the sane system of measurement, unlike us 😭 )
Why did the babysitter reveal her hand instantly? Like, what did she gain from being evil the moment the mother left? It would've made much more sense to build some trust with the kid then wait till he's asleep to rummage through the mother's possessions, especially considering they found the box of cash in like 20 seconds and it was already in the mother's room where the babysitter would presumably be sleeping. Assuming she had a modicum of strategy, Brenda probably would have advertised herself as a babysitter under an alias, found the box of cash then fled into the night. Granted, it would probably only inconvenience the police for an extra 5 seconds but at least she'd only go to prison for theft and negligence rather than attempted murder lmao
14:08 I guess the people behind gen hope are boomer enough to be like "naaah it's all the same, just get any generic playbox joystick thingy that has the same colour"
I think it’s supposed to be the apartment complex pool, so not actually theirs. But getting that minute detail correct doesn’t make this video any less stupid 😅
Do people really hire strangers to babysit their kids? Anytime i remember being babysat as a kid it was ussually relatives, like the kids of friends my parents knew pretty well, or at least people in the neighboorhood we knew decently well.
It’s primary selling point is being so close to an airport that you can leave home, drive to the airport, find parking at the airport, get inside, go through security, get to the right terminal, and get on the plane all in 45 minutes
The babysitter should have sent the kid to the room, bring her accomplice, they find the safe, he then TAKES the safe, to distract the kid, the babysitter takes him to get pizza or ice cream or even a 2 hour movie, she buys a replacement safe to pretend nothing got stolen, then go safely home, she'd get away with the robbery and the kid won't suspect a thing
The Patreon credits are out of date because I forgot this video existed.
Umm... Oops.
😂
She calls him a twerp and yells at him to go to his room. It's like they watched an episode of Fairly Oddparents and thought 'hey let's do that!'

The kid had to die because Gen Hope wanted to drill into our heads that this person is an evil being who kicks puppies in her spare time.
I don't get why she needed a running start for that push

Suprised GenHope left the "what happened next is shocking" out of the video title
Even they realized that no one would be shocked
It wasn't a racially motivated drowning, so...
Generation Hope really works hard to make the world a worse place.
"Because we at gen Hope are trying to make YOU FEAR EVERYTHING AND DOUBT EVERYONE YOU MEET OR YOU'RE GONNA DIIIIIIIE"
I love how the escalation of these films is like being shot out of a rocket. Instant evil and the mom isn’t even down the hall.
Oh and the kid is dry, and they didn’t even bother to buy a party city cop costume.
My favorite part is that the kid was drowning in the 3ft deep end of the pool.

Boys? That’s soooo sexist. Women can break and enter just as good as men. No even better than😠
I think the kid wasn't mic'd up cause he was gonna go in the pool, and they didn't see the point since they'd have to take it off before he went in.
Yeah, but don't you think you just take it off between shots. It's why we have editing. 😂

What a boss
Kid: “Mom, why do you keep all that cash in the house?”
Mom: “I told you honey. NEVER ask me about my business.”

Punch the water
Just refuse to let the water win
I need, I REQUIRE the “…what happens next is shocking” in a Derp Hope art film title.
The mom and the "babysitter" look exactly the same, luckily they have pretty different voices so I can somewhat tell them apart.

Generation Hope doesn't know what real life is. They're too busy counting their ad revenue.
It's actually a period piece set in the Great Depression.
I have mixed thoughts about this Fairly Oddparents live action remake
I thought it was awesome in every way, except Timmy was missing his signature pink hat, so it actually sucked ass. -0 stars.
I cannot believe nobody noticed that the child in the apartment scenes and the child in the pool scene are two completely different child actors
are they? i was only listening mostly but out of the corner of my eye i was like
huh that kid looks kinda different
Dhuur Ma'am thinks that babysitters cost half a million dollars because he's being charged that amount.

You should just be irrationally afraid of everyone in case they are child murderers.
I love just how downright comical these types of "life lesson" videos can end up being. And I don't think it's intentional.
