Yeah, pineapple allergies are pretty common. But I can understand that Adam just didn't know anyone who had one. It has to do with the types of pineapple you can get - Ever since Hawaii stopped exporting their pineapple to the mainland, stores imported pineapples from Mexico instead. While the climate is similar enough, the soil is so much more acidic in Mexico that it can cause allergic reactions. Source: My sister, who is allergic to Mexican pineapple, but can eat Hawaiian pineapple all she wants. And yes I am autistic.
Severe anaphylactic allergy to fruits is actually pretty uncommon. You might be thinking of oral allergy syndrome, which is still allergy-related (to pollen, specifically) but basically just makes your mouth itch and isn't life-threatening. Pineapple in particular gets mistaken for "allergic" symptoms a lot because it contains enzymes and acids that make your mouth tingle even if you don't have OAS or an allergy. True anaphylactic food allergies like the ones portrayed in this video are typically to proteins like nuts, soy, eggs, meat, shellfish, dairy, etc. because the protein in foods is what the body reacts to. Source: partner is severely allergic to dairy and I get OAS with a lot of fruits. Anyway, pineapple and sausage were INCREDIBLY weird picks for portraying food allergies lol
"allergic to sausage" can we examine this? Sausage is made of so much stuff in it that it's often joked (in the past at least) that it's not even the meat it's claiming to be, even before taking into account the sheer amount of variety of Sausage that exists. to be allergic to a catch-all thing like sausage, she'd be allergic to all the other meats or some of the other binding agents that were most likely on the pizza in one form or another otherwise. I worked in a nursing home where one resident had a pineapple allergy. That resident had dementia and didn't realise that he was about to eat something that would make him have a significant, but apparently not really dangerous, allergic reaction after someone just decided to bring him some sliced fruit - a couple of bits of pineapple - for an afternoon snack. This was a really small nursing home with about 19 residents at the time and only about three people in working in the kitchen. Either that woman who brought him the pineapple did a terrible job that day or the head of the nursing home hadn't bothered to inform _the kitchen staff_ about someone's food allergy, probably since that is rather a _health_ info than a _kitchen_ info in general. In any case, someone there was a lazy thinker. This was no mistake that could be made easily there.
Don't you see Adam!? Him "being allergic to pineapple" is just a subtle secret nod at how he's far smarter then he lets off. Saying he's allergic to them as to make sure they never order pineapple on pizza by accident. It's called basic cinema literacy, god.

How can one be simply "allergic to sausage"? A sausage is simply a category of food, a method of meat preparation, it can be made of a multitude of things: pork, beef, chicken, turkey (two of which meats were presumably present in the rest of the "Meat Lovers" pizza), ext. This is like saying you're allergic to sandwiches, it doesn't actually mean anything! Why not be allergic to a specific kind of meat!? Someone explain!
I still cant believe that alot of young ppl watch these shows and thinks it's real. The new generation of kids have such a skewed take of reality, and its because of this type of media
Ah, you see, by having one of the characters call a white person a monkey, Generation Hope is trying to comment on how all humans are primates, and therefore we should stop using such a racist slur as it is too general a term, and that we as humans should focus on our similarities and not our differences. Bravo, Generation Hope. Truly inspired
So, sausage allergy. Are you allergic to meat stuffed in a colon? To a certain type of meat? Then why would you so non-chalantly order a meat lovers pizza?
I was confused at first because I thought Adum already reacted to this one, then I realized it's because GH made LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME VIDEO 6 months ago. They're so lazy that they reused lines word for word like "In fact, I think he might be better than us," and they also order pizza in that video while mentioning that the kid has an allergy. This plays into my theory that all videos in the GHCU take place in different parallel universes, which would account for both the synchronicities in the sequence of events and the fact that every video takes place in the same apartment with the same furnishings.
So it's not only the racists that have over-the-top characterization in the world of GH. Who the hell writes their scripts? Also, as another commentator with ASD, I'm not such a fan of how they represented our condition, either. Though asking them to represent anything accurately is asking them too much.
They kept the epi pen’s cap on because they didn’t actually want to use it because they’re like 400USD if you don’t have health insurance, it’s probably their most expensive prop

Everything about the pizza order is infuriating. She orders two pizzas, but the employee reiterates that it's only one, and she agrees. The total with a delivery charge and tax is somehow less than eleven dollars, which NO pizza place would take, and he quoted fifteen minutes, which would ALSO never happen, except that doesn't even matter because he DIDN'T ASK FOR THE ADDRESS. My mom can’t eat sausage because it has seeds in it and skin. She can’t eat popcorn or strawberries and stuff like that for the same reason. There has to be a reason why someone is allergic to sausage.
waiwaiwait. She said two. She said two pizzas. She even said pizza with an s, as in two. Two Pizzas. Not one pizza fake phone call they added later and edited into the video of her saying two. Two pizzas. Two. And then they brought one! Did only zero people read the script or listen to the girl talking. And AND *WHO ORDERS TWO PIZZAS OF EXACTLY THE SAME THING AND ONLY THAT ONE KIND OF PIZZA* she gave him an 82% tip! What is numbers in this! Everything is just wrong
How can you be allergic to just sausage? That would imply you are allergic to pork, which the ham, pepperoni, and meatballs would all be equally deadly.

I mean, ngl I kinda respect that pineapple allergy misdirect.
I did get a Deliveroo ad just as the baby sitter is having an allergic reaction.
i've been waiting all week for the weekly generation hope cringefest lmao...also, dollar store miranda cosgrove is on brand
At least they didnt wrestle him to the ground and lay on him like in that Sia movie.
thank the lord a new YMS Generation Hope video
These videos gets crazier, and the crazier it gets, the funnier Adum, its perfect. Thank you Adum and Highlights.
I still cant believe that alot of young ppl watch these shows and thinks it's real.
The new generation of kids have such a skewed take of reality, and its because of this type of media
Did you mean "Sia's "Music" level cringe" instead of "Cia's Music level cringe"?
honestly its a bigger insult misspelled so i say keep it!
If The CIA released an album it would probably have a high level of cringe.
@@averageryan4965 I'd argue they'd make the most crowd pleasing music ever because they know every person's listen history
"Sia's [italics]Music[/italics][hyphen]level cringe" if you are really picky
Ah, you see, by having one of the characters call a white person a monkey, Generation Hope is trying to comment on how all humans are primates, and therefore we should stop using such a racist slur as it is too general a term, and that we as humans should focus on our similarities and not our differences.
Bravo, Generation Hope. Truly inspired
If I have one problem with these racist slurs, they're too damn vague!
ok having her major be psychology is fucking hilarious
The Mexican kids joke took me about 30 seconds before it hit me.
Grooooaaaan lol
How does the Mum look so wholesome and simultaneously exactly like the troll face meme?
Ironically, I got an ad for Autism Speaks on this video
He couldn’t get the cap off
14:50 perfect timing
I thought that line sounded familiar
Thumbnail is priceless.
Stacy's mom has got it going on. Jammies.
I’ll say that the “super genius autistic” is super fucking harmful stereotype that needs to die😕. Most of us are just like. Plain joe’s lol. We just got a shit ton of random knowledge about veeery specific stuff 😂.
6:18 Funny that you say that cause they just remade their most popular video with aside from some tweaking, are literally the same video and I don't mean that with exaggeration, this is essential a remake of their most viewed video.
This guy forgot peachsaliva has a pineapple allergy lol
Another TH-camr group I like has a guy with the allergy as well, Sorted food.
I'm pretty sure this is not how autism, pizzas, epipens, or allergies work.
(Also the receipt totalled "$1.40" - for a $10.99 pizza 🤷🏾♀)
Everything about the pizza order is infuriating. She orders two pizzas, but the employee reiterates that it's only one, and she agrees. She's somehow allergic to just sausage, but not the other ingredients?? The total with a delivery charge and tax is somehow less than eleven dollars, which NO pizza place would take, and he quoted fifteen minutes, which would ALSO never happen, except that doesn't even matter because he DIDN'T ASK FOR THE ADDRESS. Goddamn
8:00 SHE JUST ASKED FOR 2 PIZZAS BUT T HE REST OF THE CONVERSATION SAID ONE PIZZA WAIT NO I'M NOT LETTING THAT SLIDE
dude the kid looks like JOJEN REED from Game of Thrones! 😆🤣
A 15 year old babysitting another 15 year old??? Perfect sense 😂
they just never call an ambulance or go to the hospital after??? you still have to do that even if youve used an epipen lmao
16:49 Looks like he just couldn't get the cap off :(
I hope YMS take a look at the upcoming Rescue Rangers movie.
This was the first video that popped up when I was showing my brother this and I felt like this was calling me out. I am autistic btw
She orders two pizzas and gets only one. And then she throws a whole fucking slice on the floor of the pizza that SHE paid for... this woman needs some lessons in self-preservation.
What was Adam talking about Mexicans at the start? Did he just totally mishear?
The way every video is set in the same apartment, it's like Room 104 except it's shit.
Who orders a thing they're allergic to?
Also for someone that's trying to catch dudes on tinder, you'd think meat would be the last thing she was allergic to
Could’ve sworn she ordered two pizzas instead of one.
LIES IVE NOT HAD AN ALERGEY DEVELOP IN MY LIFE I LITERALLY DONT HAVE ALLEEGIES??? TF
As someone with Aspergers (which is a form of autism for those who don’t know) this is hilarious.Dahr man clearly doesn’t understand how basic human behavior and interactions work. Everyone is ether super nice, super evil,or extremely exaggerated version of what their character is supposed to be.
This isn’t Dahr man, you freaking artist
@@Ithaca-vv5dy I know, but I think it still applies here
"cause that's the only way to change people"
Man, these channels are loaded with toxic positivity. See, you didn't make that bigoted person stop being bigoted because you weren't nice enough to them! If you're NICER then they'll stop being bigoted towards you! So it's your fault they're awful, really!
My mom can’t eat sausage because it has seeds in it and skin. She can’t eat popcorn or strawberries and stuff like that for the same reason. There has to be a reason why someone is allergic to sausage.
*uplifiting music* And she's suddenly changed her entire perception on life.
I got an invisalign ad for this video.
In my experience those kinds of auto injectors are spring loaded
My cousin is allergic to pineapple... he also sucks at essays.
How can you be allergic to just sausage? That would imply you are allergic to pork, which the ham, pepperoni, and meatballs would all be equally deadly.
I wish I could comment but I'm too busy playing with my toy trucks on the floor.
Aw yissss more generation hope vids
Everyone commenting on the sausage allergy, but no one commenting on the fact it was $10.99 for TWO LARGE MEAT LOVER PIZZAS
As an autistic, I endorse Adam's jokes.
They literally made this video twice, with a different cast.
All these Dhar Mann type videos have the same acting and writing style as a workplace training video.
