- Thought I would try something different for this video. I had heard 'Bismarck' before making reaction videos so I thought I'd react to this live version while offering my thoughts and analysis on some of the guitar parts.
I hope you guys find this entertaining. I'm really keen to get feedback on this. Let me know if you like this format or if I should make any changes or just stick to regular reactions, I won't be offended! :)
Thanks for watching!

Interesting bit of trivia, Battleship Bismarck was built by Blohm+Voss in Hamburg on Slipway No. 9, that slipway doesn't exist anymore, the spot was filled in and is now part of the shipyard floor
Hey love the guitar idea! It adds something new and interesing to the usual "reaction" video. GoGoGo for the analysis!
Hey Federico, thank you very much! I'm really glad to hear that. I appreciate the feedback! :)
@@ThomFoolery1 as a Guitar player, it's absolutely nice to have someone doing it! There are several for vocals done by vocal coaches, so having a guitar player doing it? Cool!
I like when reactors add some extra info to their reactions. There are so many reactors out there you need to find your own niche, to catch us ;-) You caught a new subscriber today.
I think most of Sabaton's songs are fairly simple as they mostly give a backdrop for Joakim's story telling. It's all about the story they're telling and music that fits the story. My humble opinion, at least :-)
Thank you very much Anders! I appreciate the feedback. Yes, I figured I should try and do something different.
Very true, they're not too complex and it gives their music a real charm. :)
I just discovered your channel this morning and have binged watched all your videos. Good stuff🤘🤘. Keep it up man, you got a good thing going here.
Hey Jeremy, thanks so much dude! That really means a lot. Take care. 🤘 :D
I love the guitar idea. I'm definitely down for more of these videos.
Thanks Joe! I appreciate the feedback. :D
They never disappoint me! God, I love it! Great reaction, love the guitar! Keep rockin’ it out! ❤️🤘🏻
Thanks so much Margaret! Yeah, they are amazing. Thanks for watching! 😀🤘
I was a bit confused by the drummer Hannes at first, watched a drum cam video with him and I thought that he wasn't doing much. Then the coin dropped, he is Left Handed so I had been looking at him the wrong way.
I don't mind the guitar, keep that if you want. Cheers / B.
Haha yes I was also a bit confused by that, well spotted. I love how casual he is in this.
Thanks a lot. See you in the next one. :)
Ahh Breakfast with Thomas (sleeping better🤣🤣) As a guitarist, myself, I'm loving the guitar input. I think what you did this time was great. A good balance.
And also....an awesome song👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁
Good morning Basil! Glad you're watching at a reasonable hour and thanks so much for the feedback. I'm glad it was a good balance! Was worried it might be too boring haha. Yeah, such an amazing song! 😁
@@ThomFoolery1 Far from boring. Keep going🤣🤣🤣
Yes!
I own a guitar but haven't learned how to play yet. You are now may favorite guitar teacher!
Wow, thank you Boris! 😁🤘
@@ThomFoolery1 Seriously, I would love if you go even simpler, explain what an E-sharp minor is, how to play it and how to play Sabaton and other artists!
@@Illaga1 Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I can definitely try breaking it down more in future videos. :)
I’m here for my sabaton history class 🤓 Christ if my class in college was like this I might’ve passed 😂
Hey, cool Vid. I was there in Person at the concert. It was awesome. Wanted to go with my mother, but she catched a bad flue a few days before so she could not go. She was really sad. You should check out Apocalyptica as well. They where the second of 3 bands that evening. They're incredible!
Hey Sven, that's a shame your Mum could not go with you but I imagine it was still a great experience for you. You'll have to both try going again next time they tour. Apocalyptica is also on my to-do list, thank you! :)
Love this inclusion to this video Thomas. More of the same pleeease 🤘😊
Thank you very much Lea-Anne! Much appreciated. 😁
@@ThomFoolery1 i really enjoyed it 👍🏻🎸
Honestly I'd really like to see you do Alestorm/Gloryhammer.
You're right dude, I was just thinking that. I'll do it soon!
@@ThomFoolery1 Universe on Fire/Land of Unicorns are good for Gloryhammer, and for Alestorm I'd recommend Drink and Cartagena
Well, after Nightwish and Sabaton you should react to Amaranthe imo. Try their cover of “82nd all the way” from Sabaton. There is also a live version with the two band together!
Thanks! I have done a couple of Amaranthe reactions (my first reaction video in fact). I will need to check out this live video - thanks! :D
Nice axe you have there Thomas. PRS, correct? I've been playing a LTD D-6 six string bass for the past 8 or 9 years. Before that I had an Alembic Europa 5-String that cost 10 times more, but I prefer the D-6.
Thank you! Yes it's a PRS that I got recently. Ooh the D-6 looks tasty! LTD are a great brand, I almost went with one. If I see anyone showing up with a 6 string bass like that, I know they mean business. 😏🤘
that sound reminds me on the x men carton opening
Oh wow! I never thought about that! So true, that was a great show/opening intro. 🙂
YOu do know the drummer Hannes, is Floor Jansen's husband right?
Yes, a few people mentioned it haha
