    Thank you. Please expand on this lesson by showing the loop choke when opponent is on all fours and you are facing them with your chest on the back of their head, with kind of upside down seatbelt. Yikes, I have no idea how to describe this position correctly, haha!

    iv been trying to hit that loop choke, where you pull the opponent until they almost turtle, hold their leg and dive with the head under their belly, my only problem iv been getting side-mounted most of the time and I never had the chance to troubleshoot it yet.

    Hello! We were working on different chokes during our training and afterward my neck is sore just to the sides of my windpipe but not quite onto the muscle. Is there anything I can do to
    1 prevent chokes while rolling, and 2 ease the pain afterward?

      Chewjitsu I think the defense of any technique would be a great addition to every video. Same as drilling in class, coach shows us a move and a countermove and we drill both before rolling

    Hello Chewy, or any other jiu jitsu practioner who may be able to spare me some of their valuable advice. I'm thinking of beginning jiu jitsu and I will have the money for training when I begin my new job. However, this job may fill up my free time so much that I may only have the opportunity to train once per week and occasionally twice. Do you consider this, realistically, as a worthwhile investment?       Rory McEniry-Brash If you want to learn /train just for the beauty/fun of bjj (or any other martial art/sport) just go for it, even once a week is better than not doing it. You might not be a tournament medal chasing bjj practitioner with „only“ once a week, but who cares ;-) have fun!

      willcabrerajr stay loose on the collar to get both carotids closed off. This will prevent that. I might make a follow up video for ya.
