I’ve been wanting him to go to the Richard Petty museum for over a year now, as it was one of the first experiences for me as a nascar fan
It is a must My Family went in 2016 it is a blast Richard Petty even sent Me and my Brother a autograph

Been to the NC museum great way to spend a day
It's cool getting to see all of these places. And the tar heels name was created after the civil war were NC soldiers where forced to put tar on their feet so they couldn't run from a fight.
Too neat. Enjoyed. I lived in NC but museum was not there when I was.

Got the chance to visit this place four years ago and loved it!
I've actually seen Petty's 200th win car at the Smithsonian; it currently resides at the Air and Space Museum in D.C. in the museum's newly opened gallery called "Nation of Speed". It's a really sweet ride. The 1969 Indy 500 winning car is also in the same gallery.

I couldn’t believe I was actually there for myself. It was sooo surreal! It was amazing what Richard Petty has in his collection spanning from antique guns to military and presidential honors. Remarkable. Glad you brought your tour there to the masses.

Great video! Eastern style BBQ is chopped whole hog with red pepper vinegar. You need to go a bit farther east to really get the good stuff, around Goldsboro or Ayden.
The petty museum is on my list to go to, but I saw the goodys sign on the building and I miss goodys being associated with the 43 this was an awesome video

We took a feild trip there in 5th grade and ofc me and my friend wanted to touch dales car and it set a alarm off we ran away so fast😂but I don’t remember a worker getting mad

There is a lot you young people (ERIC) dont know about racing. You need to see the inside of Richards house someday.
Eric does a great job studying and respecting history. Maybe he will take us there. But the "you young people" remark you made, is rude bullshit. Guys like me need to die off. That makes sense! But you might be 40. Still in "the thick of things." So, go for it. It's your world. But for now, , I am not dead. So I can call bullshit on ages 10 or 25. 30, 40, 60, 80. A lot of self-angrandizing males (mostly) bullshit to go around -- at every age. 😊 I have an M.D. and a Ph.D (Systems Science) so I think I am still cool I guess. But... Maybe a dumb fuck. But I do not automatically feel superior to younger people.
But I will tell you. When I think I see rude, disrespectful, condescending bullshit I will callll bullshit, regardless of the other person's, or my age. I expect him/her to do the same about me.
