    Another great tip is to buy frozen berries and broccoli (and cauliflower) at Costco. Frozen berries are nutritionally just as good as fresh, and the frozen broccoli can be "reactivated " by adding adding a little radish or mustard powder to it. It's really cost effective and keeps in the freezer for months.

    Your grocery list is very similar to mine. My wife is BRCA1 diagnosed PDAC ST4 in 2021. In remission and NED status for more than a year now. 17 cycles of folfirinox and after NED is on Olaparib. Took up weightlifting and walks everyday. She is thriving and is healthier than before. I am glad I stumbled on to your channel as it confirms a lot of the regimen we have. I do make sure she gets grass fed milk and organic pasture raised eggs. Also she doesn't like oatmeal and protein powders. Just gets her protein from lean grass fed meats and wild caught fish.

    How long does it take to rinse and tear up leafy vegetables? Premade salads are not a good choice. They are more likely to harbor bacteria, so you have to wash them anyway and if they are already cut, then some of the nutrients have deteriorated.

    Thank you. This past
    Year has been a whirlwind- and confusing as to what to do-eat etc. also dealing with Tamoxifen has been challenging . You sharing you knowledge is helpful and comforting. Also gives me great questions to ask my doctor!

      I am also BRCA2 positive ER/PR positive BC survivor. You can absolutely add citrus to your diet. Especially lemons. You can even juice your lemons and mix it with juiced garlic to higher your Immunity.

      Citrus - high in Vit C - is an excellent choice - also to prevent Scurvy. Taking in additional Vit C, is also advised, since receptors for sugar&Vit C are similar; meaning Vit C competes with sugar (the main food source of cancer cells). When a cancer cell takes Vit C in (mistaking it for sugar), it gets destroyed.

    Cruciferous vegetables should be called out. Organic dairy and mention of hormones in standard milk. Have you researched dairy/eggs on cancer growth?

      Cancer feeds mainly on sugar/carbs, but can also use glutamine. The best way to starve cancer, is through fasting, which is very healthy to do.

    Speaking of coffee, my oncologist said no more than two cups per day while taking a hormone blocking drug because caffeine promotes bone loss. Decaf is ok.

      Glad your appendix is fine. Probably the radiation from one scan has done very, very little harm. BUT stress and worry are very bad, so stop thinking about it. Of course it's best to avoid CT scans if you can. Sometimes, for example, an ultrasound can be done instead .

    Liver, fish, eggs and dairy products contain the largest amounts of fat soluble Vit A - not at all easily converted from how it's contained in carrots. Low fat diets had been proven to lead to weight gain, since not inducing satiety, with result higher consumotion of sugar/carb laced products. Low fat intake is also known to suppress detoxification, since not enough bile is excreted. There is NO real evidence that Saturated fat is harmful - to the contrary, the added fat is much needed to assist in protein digestion, as well as assimilation of fat-soluble vitamins ADEK.
    What about all the oxolates in those greens 🧐

    Dairy causes cancer because of the hormons. Cows milk has natural growth hormones which are good for calfs and cancerous for people since they cause quick growth. Low fat dairy is the same risk as full-fat with respect to hormones.
