I'm sure this has been asked, but I haven't seen it addressed in these previews. Wouldn't OLED burn-in be a concern? Much of a playfield is static images.
We recommend exiting a table after you are done playing it to allow the Pinup Popper attract screen saver mode to kick in. Also, this is a 4th gen OLED panel with built-in anti-burn in technology. See www.lg.com/us/experience-tvs/oled-tv/reliability

We also suggest you shut-down the unit when not in use. These look great! Do these builds run Pinball FX games in 4k 120hz without issue? VPins that I've seen (from other manufactures) seem to have screen tear inconsistent stuttering with Pinball FX tables.
@@combochuck Competitive virtual pinball machines are notorious for having underpowered PCs. Our Ultra VP comes with a high-end gaming PC that features an RTX 4070, 12GB. We have not seen any degradation on Zen Studios tables running at 4K 120hz.
Hey there Roland, i was wondering if you guys are making any progress with the new pinball FX being in the new update? I have it set up pretty good on mine since theyve made it so you can own each table individually, but im not the best with integrating it seemlessly into popper so i was wondering if the spftware guys you use were working on it. Love the new 8.0 model man you guys are doing great with these machines!
We have to be careful with the new Zen Studios software licensing. The new Zen Studios Pinball FX and M tables can only be played if you run it off of your own Steam account straight from Windows desktop, outside of Pinup Popper. We will make a video to help everybody understand how to properly install it when the new software is released. We will make an official announcement about the state of affairs with that new software by the end of the year as promised, so stay tuned. Merry Christmas!
Yes I want one Roland. You didn’t mention the cabinet size difference. I still need the audio activated light installation video… hope you are loving your new Godzilla premium. Thanks again bud
The cabinet size is basically the same. The OLED Edition is a half an inch less wide. And yes we will be making a video soon about how to install those RGB LED bars, I assume that's what you were referring to?
The only drawback is inherent to OLED panels being more susceptible to burn-in. But that is not an issue if you remember to exit out of a table back into the selection menu which has a screensaver when you are done playing. Leaving the monitor on the same table for hours or days at a time can cause burn-in issues on the screen. This is also an issue on regular LED panels but not to the same extent.
Is 8.0 your newest Model? DE Guns N Roses is my Favorite Table. do you have any videos with that table running? Thanks Roland for your video. i gave up on virtual about 5 years ago. was tired of all the updates to tables. was waiting till Vp became more advanced. Now iam slowly getting more interested in VP how its gotten better. theres so many competitors out there building nice machines. yours looks to be on the top
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, the 8.0 model is our newest model. Tony (Sales) can remote video demo your favorite Guns N Roses table uf you give him a call at 614-208-7780.

@RecRoomWorld Thanks Roland appreciate that.. can't wait to see the Guns N Roses table. VPW did a overhaul on it. hope that's the version yiu hwve.. I own the real DE GnR.. iam leaning towards purchasing from. you. USA. don't wanna deal overseas
About the same price as a single game mechanical pinball machine. The ULTRA VP Standard Edition sells for $8,695 + $420 shipping to mainland USA locations. The OLED Edition sells for $1,000 more. If you want the topper monitor and beacons add $295. Keep in mind that cheaper virtual pinball machines will not come anywhere close to giving you the same realistic touch and feel experience that rivals mechanical units.
Virtual pins are strange tbh! Idk if I'd ever get one! I have 4 real pinball machines already so idk! I'll probably wait for evil dead by spooky or something!
We understand... that is what many hardcore pinheads have been saying for years, but those who take the time to play the Ultra VP (not just any VPin) have all changed their minds and understand the immense value of being able to play the complete history of pinball machines on a single VPin that feels as realistic as the Ultra VP. For example, we have had orders from competitive pinball players who are now using the Ultra to learn table rules prior to tournaments on tables they do not own.
@@ryrysonic9 Yes on both of those and both are created by the VPW team which make really realistic tables. Search for each with VPX in the title and you can see how they play.
Looks great. Looking forward to the 3.0 Software update. Nice work.
Seeing the tables side by side really shows the beauty of OLED. Worth the wait!
The OLED edition looks fantastic! Appreciate the updated information on the status of the new table hardware/software upgrades. 😃

Nothing major will change after the 8.0 OLED model other than software upgrades and regular PC and monitor progressions (as they become available).

It will probably be either towards the end of December or early January. We're focusing on getting Christmas deliveries out the door
