The 2022 Civic came in 3rd place for North American Car of the Year. It did make the finals. The funny thing is, the 2021 Civic was worst than the 2022 Civic but did take home the prize last year. The voting was rigged. You know that Honda's reliability went way down with the 10th Generation mainly due to the 1.5L Turbo "Earths Dream" engine for Oil Dilution.

Our family had a first generation 1979 Civic. We had it in Detroit in the early 1980s. Lots of hatred directed our way and angry drivers giving us their angst at stop lights. We were pioneers driving that cream yellow Japanese car around in Metro Detroit.
    We survived!

Do you have to turn auto stop-start off every time you get into the vehicle? If so, these auto manufactures could change that in a software updated, so that if you turn it off, it stays off. Until you hit the button again.

You need a pillow in your seat lady. Every compact/ small vehicle you have ever reviewed always remarked how terrible the seats are. My best suggestion is for you to stop test-driving the compact cars so you can stop telling everyone how uncomfortable the seats are. We know they are not very comfortable seats as those you would get in an Audi A6.

While the tech of the little Civic showing its headlights on is cool I doubt it will help people with turning their headlights on at night time. I drive for a living and it's a real problem out there with no headlights or just DRL's on. The tech that's NEEDED is your dash lights ONLY come on when the headlights are turned on, pretty simple...maybe that's the problem, the people engineering this are too smart for OUR own good🤔🙄

HD radio and Sirius only in Touring no longer an option in EX. Honda hating it’s customers for a money grab. HondaLink is a waste of space on your device as the Civic is unable to partake in the features HondaLink was created for. The car is dumber down in Sport and EX and EX-L models. Making moving to my 4th Civic very hard because the Touring is not available or they are keeping pricing higher than marked.

Why would we choose this over Corolla cross for the same price? We get rear AC vents, lumbar support, AWD with better ground clearance.169 hp from 2l NA engine will be more reliable than turbo. This review is more like PR for Civic especially for the asking price it doesn’t make sense to me

Cross costs more that's why and 169hp with that weight in a cross is SLOW 0 to 60 mph in about 10 seconds vs the Civic Turbo 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. The new turbo's are reliable prove me wrong with statistics.
