    How does your PC compare to this? Mine looks rather sad.. 🙈😂

      I have a similar build I made a week ago. Do you think a computer as this good for Pro Audio recording and editing?

    • @antoniocepaj7544
      @antoniocepaj7544 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well you say sad, I say mine is, if you film it, it would be seen only on ancient history channel.
      Good part is I'm in proces deciding what to build as whole new pc, but bad part is that I still can't decide.
      It's either cheap, cheap build with Ryzen 5700G APU (windows 10), or semi-expensive with Intel 12600k/12700k + ddr4 ram + 3070 Ti (windows 11) .
      Both on 1080p 144Hz monitor.

    • @theTechNotice
      @theTechNotice  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'd go with the 12600k, I don't wanna give all the benchmarks away, but FLIPPING HECK AM I IMPRESSED!

      You’re wrong wrong wrong wrong
      This silly heading will hopefully get your attention.
      When you suggest a build as being ideal or Creatives and it includes several fans, clearly, you’re not a pro-editor. Creatives spend hours every day rendering and in many cases working in a studio in which background noise simply isn’t considered a special audio effect.
      Their workaround is usually to place their computers in another room that’s cooled, shut the door, and run long cables. No one likes the work around. They’d all like a pc that’s about 20 db when it’s running flat-out. They don’t need flashing lights, side-windows, and loudness, unless of course they want their pc to simulate the touch-and-go of a training aircraft.

    I have the X570 ProArt with the Ryzen 5900x and I use it for music production. The thunderbolt port works perfectly with the Universal Audio interface. The speed of the machine allows recording at high resolution, with lots of plugins and virtual instruments running in real time with very low latency. I can also play games, write software and run multiple virtual machines and more. Watching the first video on the build really convinced me to buy it and it has been one the best upgrades I've ever done. Thank you.

    Great! Can you include the benchmark of Lumion 12 for next Ultimate creator pc -parts? Some architects use Lumion 3d to work as project creators (like me) and its a very interesting benchmark to take it into the "CPUs and GPUs testings" and if is possible to include it, many people will be grateful. I think that Its an interesting suggestion... Thanks a lot for your content.

    I had gone 5950x + b550 proart creator + regular nh-d15 + 4000x for an air-cool beast but man am I very jelly. That case goes perfectly with the mobo and so does the cooler.

    Great vid! Just curious why the 2 Firecuda 530's for project SSDs? I imagine one of them is a scratch disk. Wouldn't you have the same performance from a cheaper SSD (maybe m.2 pci 3.0) for your project SSD with your original files on them? Just curious because I am deciding what to buy for my project SSD (I have a Sabrent Rocket 4.0 for scratch disk). Thanks!

      It's coming ... it's coming.... there's been some issues with DDR5 and I've been trying to sort that for weeks with Asus HQ, coz apparently there is 'nobody' who is testing the platform with 4x sticks of DDR5 RAM, so I wanted to get that sorted before I publish a build/tutorial.

    NH-D15 cools the 5950x pretty damn good for being just air. Of course with the right case. And I pretty much built this except it’s more like the one you did in the 5000d case and I have a 6900xt instead of a 3090.

    Was looking for a custom loop with my 5900x and 6900xt or just a AIO Eiswolf 2 for the 6900xt.
    for compleet custom i would go for the Corsair 7000d, or the Torrent for only GPU

    Ive updated my AMD 7 3800x to AMD 9 5950x but still have CPU maxed out 100% when playing 1080 footage in Premiere and dropping frames. My RAM is only 32GB maxing at 60% and GPU is GeForce 1660 SUPER maxing at 25%. Why do you think its happening? Is there a way to optimize CPU performance? Everything seems normal until I start editing in Pr.

    Just bought the B550 with the 5600x and 32Gb Ram and 1Tb M2 costing just over £700 to replace my old FX8350 32Gb Ram on a Gigabyte GA 990x mobo. Should I have bought the X570 instead for the extra £160? Probably, but the B550 gives me what I need. My own experience of music production systems is you need lots of cores lots of RAM and fast storage and a lot of it. Why the B550? Simply for the Thunderbolt it has PCI4 boot and I will find out whether it saturates the PCI 3 lanes but I store all my app sound banks Kontakt Toontrack etc Libraries on SATA cos there just to big to store on M2/SSD so there is always some loading latency/delay meaning the speed of the CPU/RAM is almost irrelevant !!!!!! So long as your using a PCIx4 M2 I doubt there is much difference in speed no matter what the CPU its going to be fast !!

    When I compare a $500 refurbished 8th Gen NUC on Ebay that will do all I want and one of your super Creator machines with a $4500 GPU, it reminds me of the videos that try to start explaining how big the Universe is. They explain how our Sun , as big as it is, and as far away as it is, heats, and even over heats our planet just fine. And then how they have discovered Suns that are 1000's of time bigger than our sun. It all seems fruitless to even discuss things like this.

    Discussions about the extra power draw of an 12900K vs a 5950X and the cost of the yearly electrical bill being small. No one discusses the fact that if you had an office full of them, where the electricity cost differential is still somewhat insignificant, what would the cost of A/C would be to keep everyone comfortable.
