I have what you have, minus the 3090. I have a 5600xt because I cant find a 3090, 3080, 3070 or 3060. I use Davinchi and Premiere. I will be able to do what you are doing once I get the video card.
First off, as a creator myself, I love your video and channels. You are serving us with the content we really need. A few of your videos helped me in an updated build I'm doing, which I'll post a video on when done. Second. It makes no sense Nvidia hasn't released drivers/firmware to allow their cards to handle h.265 10-Bit 4:2:2. Most creators in the TH-cam space will gradually move to this codec and many smartphones. It's excellent that Ryzen 9 5000 can handle it, but that really should be pushed to the GPU, and it should be something Nvidia should be able to give to 10-Series cards and newer!
I think my only problem with this "testing" is the case is now open. The side panel is missing. The problem with this is this ~can~ mess with the air flow of the case. I don't know how much, meaning I don't know if this is negligible or not and I would personally like to know if this has any bearing on temps that is significant (re: user noticeable). Aside from that, I ~LOVE~ this and helps me to understand what equipment is the weak point in editing and how to fix it. This channel is amazing and I don't believe there's another channel that delivers like this channel delivers. Great job!
I wasn’t sure about getting 12900k or 5950x until I saw this video. I can see a difference in your other video when 12900K handles 4k 10bit h265 422 60fps, dropping frames etc. 5950x is the way too go. Im even more Excited about the coming Zen4! AMD thank you! And thanks for doing this video. Like and subscribed.
@@firstsipstudios And i was thinking it was a mistake upgrading from my 5800x to a 5950x which got it on sale for 620 instead of going for the 12900k than saw this video and made sence to keep what i have and save some money.
5950x on an ASUS prime X570 pro mobo, 128gb ram with an ASUS RTX2070 8gb OC paired with a "vintage" quadro M5000 (for extra monitors). VV happy with it
Even though the new intel CPUs have launched, the 5950x still performs well enough to carry till the next performance upgrade. Alder Lake might not be the fastest by the time a new series of GPUs and AMD CPUs arrive. Which turned out to be a good future proof investment for those who acquired the 5950x last year. This videos on this channel are good stuff..
I ordered this exact build thanks to this video series but with 128gb RAM. Just what I needed. Just still gotta get the 3090 tho haha wish me luck everyone. Just wondering what the next best GPU would be if I can’t get my hands on one? Thanks.
Very nice monster build. My 5950X and 6800XT is now getting constant black screens. I am so sick of AMD GPU drivers. Wish I could find some Nvidia GPU's in stock to replace them. Now I really regret paying $1,300 for a 6800XT.
Costco had the following computer on sale ( Dell XPS 8940 Tower - 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700 - 32gb ram, 1tb harddrive, 512gb ssd, GeForce RTX 3060Ti ) for $1,299
Wow - that's very impressive for sure. If you had 128 gb ram ; i bet there wouldn't be any problems at all. Maybe get a Asus Hyper M.2 X4 gen 4 pcie to 4 x nvme m.2. - try raid 0 those drives with the 128 gb ram. Maybe try a 360 or higher AIO and set the CPU to max overclock.
I got interesting, and very important question, that in my opinion very little people ask. Will there be another cpu linup on 1700 socket or is Intel 12'th gen only one that will use 1700 socket ?
I had the same question. My thought is Intel will release a 1700 socket with 16 performance cores an zero efficient cores. That similar to what threadripper did with the 16 to 32.

thats a nice pc brother! I can see now its worth the upgrade for music production!

Yes, for sure! If you're on Ryzen 5000 series, then upgrading to 12th gen is not worth it, but anything below that would make total sense :)
Agreed Team AMD for the win. Best for the price.
Which CPU is better for Cinema4D? Intel or AMD?
Hope all has a pc of specs like this😄💖🔥
Hi, this is your new pc setup for editing? This torrent case is noisy with 180mm fan? Other peole say very load, other say it is silent.

3080ti but the prices are still ridiculous
Wait for the 40 series maybe,
I'm running a 5950 with a 3070 and honestly it's butter
Can it run 2k live playback smooth ?
What are the rgb color values for your fan rgb light setup? The colors look good. I have the exact same case and fans :)
I think it's pretty close to orange, don't know the exact colour code ;)
Have you tested if timings of the RAM make a difference in content creation?
Yes, have a look at my ddr4 vs ddr5 video :)

Is the mobo still holding up after a year of use?
Can you do experiment for both systems side by side see which one performs better for video editing. 12900k and 5950x with 64gb ram and RTX 3090.
12900K due to the IGPU which the 5950X doesn't have.
@@JayzBeerz thanks
🔥🔥
This is INSANE x1000 times LoL !!!
Will it perform same in hot temp areas?

5950x uses more.

Please don't get the KF version if you're a creator!
That little iGPU can give you HUUGE performance boost!
Make a 7950x rtx 4090 test
Love it but that GPU, hate 3000 serious doesn't matter how good they are. AMD all the way
Why do you hate them? For creators they're so much better? 🤔
Ouch , the sibellance is painful.
Dude why no 120p?!!!! Damnnnn
You should switch to DaVinci and utiilise that GPU, Adobe is a joke with their optimisation.
