My heart literally skipped a beat when I opened that mail from Nintendo with THIS announcement inside it.
I have never seen a game being released EARLIER than planned. We eatin goooood.

I know the european version of xenoblade 1 was released a couple weeks early but a couple months early? I don't know if any game has done this
Last game I can think of off the top of my head that got released earlier than its previous release date was Monster Hunter World. Came out like 2-3 months earlier than expected.

It was set for October 2021 and released spring/summer in 2020 cause Disney thought we could use something to lift our spirits during Covid
@@gameregression539 they really actually are. The people at Monolith are legitimately machines just look at how close Xenoblade content gets released to each other and they managed to put 1 on a DS somehow.
Y'know, when people talk about Nintendo Switch's graphics and stuff, they always look at Mario and BotW like it's the superior ones, visually. Some would even say it's the Witcher port, even though it's been downgraded to PS2 level graphics.
But these people clearly never gave Xenoblade a second glance. So many massive environments, so many massive backdrops, and so many massive characters, all animated so well, even alongside the regular-size stuff.

Based on the text in that relationship chart in the last bit, XC3's Vandham is called Guernica Vandham. Wonder what the english name will be.

4:22: so...I have a theory. I think that character IS the Vandham from Xenoblade 2. Here's why:
Apart from the hints we're already given (same VA, similar look - right down to the scar on his face, etc.), there's also this line from Dromarch at Vandham's funeral at the beginning of Chapter 4: "The body may die, but never the soul, which is merely passed on. Souls flow onward, born and reborn, forever part of the great ether stream." Literally, I saw this about a week ago while catching up on SarahKey's streams via TH-cam; and my first thought was, "wait a minute; IS THIS FORESHADOWING XENOBLADE 3?!?! 😲"
So, yeah, I think there's a strong possibility that the Vandham we see in these Xenoblade 3 trailers is the soul of Vandham from Xenoblade 2. Whether he actually remembers anything from his time as XC2 Vandham remains a mystery. I'm going to guess XC3 Vandham doesn't remember anything, though he may have some "deja vu" moments while helping Noah that remind him of his time as XC2 Vandham. I'm really excited to see how this theory holds up! ☺

Interestingly enough, "Ghernica" may actually be an approximation of "Guernica". It's a Spanish town in Northern Spain and a painting by spanish artist Pablo Picasso. The painting is an anti-war picture made in response to said town being bombed during WWII. Maybe the name "Guernica Vandham" is supposed to reflect that. Especially since he looks and sounds like XC2 Vandham.
