    When it comes to UTV's the hot summer days make a lack of air flow sometimes unbearable. RPM, from their own first hand experience, has put together this "Cooler" air vent kit to make hot days, not so hot! This kit uses adjustable louvers that can be open or closed easy as well as can easily adjust the path of air flow. Air flow is drastically increased by utilizing RPM's custom silicone ram air tubes. Available in straight and 40*, these tubes scoop additional air into the louvers and transform ram air into compressed air to not only break up stale air in the cab at your feet, but also provide fresh cooler air into the cab itself. The flexible silicone is impact resistant and can take any hit from tires, sticks, or even rocks. This is a kit of TWO and includes louvers, mounting nuts, worm gear clamps, and silicone ram air tubes. Silicone ram air tubes are 3ply silicone and are easy to cut, shorten, or modified. Uninstalling is made clean and simple with the inclusion of firewall plugs which are essentially thin, flat rubber plugs that would eliminate the hole from the louvers if ever uninstalled, or moved to another vehicle!

    Lots of odd comments. These are still orv. Dust mud and water comes thru the floors and all the other joints anyways. May as well catch a little breeze on the ol nad sack and not worry about keeping your dress slacks clean

    Can you show airflow with some strings or something. Also free idea maybe you could make a forced air system utilizing your clutch blower fan and some ducting.

    I don’t need it for my pro in my area but, cool for these in hotter climates.

    Is there a way to add some frog skin to it to limit the amount of mud and dirt that will come in the cab for trail riders? Also is this on your site?

    • @RPMPowersports
      @RPMPowersports  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Frog skins will drastically decrease air flow. The vents can be open and closed, so if you’re seeing anything coming in, close them, dry days, open them.

    I ordered a kit for my 2024 Commander XT-P. It looks my the firewall is double layer. Will I have any problem getting that threaded through?

    • @RPMPowersports
      @RPMPowersports  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Only mount to one wall, the second wall would have a larger hole.

    Please show how you install it on the X3 on the passenger side.

    • @RPMPowersports
      @RPMPowersports  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's universal, not specifically for anything. Where you want it is up to you, near the bottom of the fuel tank , and on either firewall works for the X3 passenger side. It's ok to be in line with the tank, the louver directs the air downward.

    What keeps mud and water from coming in

    • @RPMPowersports
      @RPMPowersports  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The vents can be open and closed, so if you’re seeing water or mud they can be closed. These are not inline with the tire, so you’re not going to have many issues with either.

    • @RPMPowersports
      @RPMPowersports  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to go through both walls for it to work. you can secure the vent to the furthest outward wall and still use the vent.

    • @jimharbort2821
      @jimharbort2821 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimharbort2821 We go through the first wall with the hole saw, completely install it, and leave the 2nd hole alone. The 2nd panel is irrelevant once assembled, you can still use the vent through it.

      @@RPMPowersports It might make sense after drilling the holes, but I don't see how you will be able to screw the pieces together to give the vent something to mount to if you're only using one wall.

      True, dust doesn't ever come in the 4'x4' opening you're looking out of though so I could see that worry.
