The two tubes connected to the top air box flows air up and out? I was assuming the clutches pulls air from those and then out of the two tubes which are not connected to that upper box and exhaust in front and behind the engine?
and you are right sir , the pre filter behind you pulls clean air to your cvt belt , and exhaust it between the engine and muffler with a upside down "J" shape silicone tube. but what im seeing with this setup is that rpm guys were trying to remove hot air from the inside the box and the only way out is trough that tube the pre filter one if they flip the fan is going to suck more hot air inside the box instead of removing it.
installed his on my 2020 x3 and Im getting some small amount of air leaking around the lower fitting attaching to the belt housing. is this normal and will water be a problem getting in any faster per say?
@@RPMPowersports okay just wondering because in all your videos you guys say that it pulls air out from the clutches which would mean exhaust side if I’m correct
Talk about plug and play. I like that you made the wiring install simple and clean.
Will be great one for the snorkels
Where can I find one of these kits that fit a 2016 can Am Maverick 1000 X ds?
What about for the xmr snorkels yall have one for it yet ??
Will this work if you have a particle separator??

We're intaking air through the intake duct, and its forcing air out the exhaust duct by doing so.
@@RPMPowersports so your fan is sucking air from the filter and pushing it into the clutch housing?
@@west2718 Correct.
Killer content guys

Loosen the clamps, reposition it and re tighten.
@@RPMPowersports Its the 2 black notches for the stock down pipe is making a gap. should i sand them off?
do you sell this for a general XP4 1000?
Would it fit on a 2017 turbo r as well
Yes it will!
@@RPMPowersports It won't fit a 2016
@@rdc7622 that's right, they didn't make a 2016 X3.
@@RPMPowersports so they don't make a cvt fan kit for a 2016 maverick 1000 turbo xds ?
@@rdc7622 We do not.
What about a shredded broken belt will the pieces tear up the fan
This is on the intake side, belt pieces will still blow out the exhaust side.
Could this be fitted on a Maverick Trail xxc meaning can we also plug it to the rear electrical harness just asking
We’ve never tried. Definitely could be wired up though!
@@RPMPowersports thank you for answering me back during the holiday season
What happens if you blow a belt? Will the pieces get stuck in there?
This is the intake for the clutch, the pieces would go out the exhaust end.

@@JulioVee Yeah, I see how it sounds confusing with the way I worded it. What I meant is were forcing fresh air in and pushing hot air out.
You have red black and a yellow wire just wondering what the yellow wires for
so it never stops just always running?
When the key is on, it runs.
Would it work if I have an SB particle separator?
I would assume so, but have never tried.
Would it fit a 2021 maverick xrs turbo rr
Yes
Does this fix xmr models?
It does not sorry

So does that make it even louder in the cabin
