I am another Arizona Republican who will be voting for Kamala Harris. In 2020, I did something I had not done for 48 years; I voted for a Democrat for President. With Trump being nominated again, I will be voting for Harris.
I also have massive respect for them. But I have huge doubts about whether they can get those lost voters back. The vast majority of the Republican base has sold out to Trump precisely because they see these principled and decent Republicans as sellouts and compromisers.

i loved john mccain. he was one of my personal heroes. i did a report on him in h.s. and learned a great deal about him and his family. when trump saId hes not a war hero i KNEW trump would lose the election... i freaking knew it! i was heart broken i was wrong that so many of my fellow americans could excuse the things he did and said in 2015 & 2016. i served 6 yrs as a scout in the army and i was blown up in iraq in 2007. im rated at 100% disabled by the VA. i had an issue in the john mccain int airport and i called his office and left a message about what happened. three days later John called me back and he apologized for what happened to me and he swore he would make some calls. long story short, i requested the old walk through metal detectors cuz i walked with a cane and im a disabled combat vet and those older walk through were still there for disabled persons as well as the new xray ones. they tried to force me to stand in a tub with my feet on the x's and hold my hands up even though i took 13 pcs of shrapnel through my body, i limp, i have knee and hip pain all the time, and THE OLD MACHINES WERE THERE FOR A DANG REASON. i refused to go through them and they tried to stop me from flying by saying im being aggressive and uncooperative, lol. literally refused to let me through. i was on my way out all upset and a dude on one of those golf carts stopped me and told me he saw the entire thing and for me to hop on cuz he'll get me to my terminal and that dude did. since it was called john mccain int airport i figured John would want to know what happens to disabled combat vets who are not senators... he felt HORRIBLE...i took him at his word he would make some calls.... we also spoke about our families, cubs baseball(cubs spring train in mesa next to pheonix), and the military and the great memories(besides the bad parts, lol) anywho, thats my story and thats why i love john mccain... he called me back, most wouldnt. POWs ARE WAR HEROES!!!!
I have early voting sites in Florida. I am on an electric Scooter given to me by the VA Hospital so I can get around. I hear you. At the end of the day when the polls on November 5th they will know who won this state. But Kalama Harris doesn't need Florida since it is a red state. I would be great if we can turn it blue here.
