Could you tell I'm not really used to recording in front of other people? 😁😂 I felt more comfortable as the day went by though, and I think it shows in the video aswell! 🥰
Shows none of us are too old or set in our ways to test out new technology, as after all Electricity is the way forward . Cheers Cassie for participating .
An electric vehicle has much less high pressure, spinning and heating up parts. It makes maintenance significantly cheaper. I was very impressed my the German instructor lady. She is very knowledgeable and fun person. All in all, it was an interesting experience watching this video. And you Cessie were a sweetheart as always
Just , impressive ! nothing More, good review and honoust opinion! Like always, Love the SHY smile and a nervous Cassie, but getting along, shes more at ease!!
Another great video Cassie! I think one of the best highlights is when you admit to being a bit nervous and your comment about the mirrors! Thanks again for taking us along and introducing us to the 'Electric truck'!
Hi Cassie. I'm glad they got you to review this truck and it's technology because you explained it in ways that were easy to understand. You represent the normal person. Have a good week ahead. 🌻🌻🌻
This video is very interesting. It's great to share the trials of this truck. You stayed focused, studious and smiling during the tests, the instructor pointed it out. It testifies to your sensitivity and your involvement in what you undertake. Thank you for your impressions of this type of vehicle, it is true that we must change our habits. The future is clean energy. Thank you Cassie for this beautiful video. See you again 💪🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💋
It's wonderful to see more and more you are taking on the mantle of spokesperson for Mercedes Trucks, wow what a great experience for you. I love this new rig by the way, it should be perfect (local delivery) for huge crowded city's across Europe and the US.
so fun and educational! im a pilot an i stumbled on your page watching "a day in the life" videos and ive been hooked! youre so fun and love your energy! safe driving !
Greetings from Scotland! Actually Cassie I thought your confidence level was very good! You settled in quickly and your commentary was great! You asked all the sensible questions too! Love the fact that your instructor/advisor knew Angelica Larsson had also been testing there! Obviously they quickly established that you Swedish girls understand trucks very well and would be good product testers! They also know who gets LOTS of views on YT!! Great video Cassie! I look forward to the Actros L test, it's already got a reputation for luxury. Have a good week Cassie! 😊
Thank you Cassie You were very informative about thgis truck,. Looking forward to see what they bring out next. As always you put out a great video.👌👏👏. 🤗👋🇺🇸
I really liked the video, its so nice with all the new silent, conveniant technology. Its not easy to record "live" and infront of other people, but you seems so cool and certain about that. Since I am a forkliftoperator, I did the same journey a couple of years ago, from diesel to electric. And I really love the silence! But I still feel more "connection" with the veichle if its not electric in some way. Great video, great job. Thanks for making it for us.
I take it it's like why I can't reliably clutch in computer games: I miss a lot of input from the vehicle. One electric car I had to drive at work once was different as well, because of how it did not keep the brake engaged when releasing it in the D position, but made the growling sound when being near brake biting point. Scariest thing I had to get used to was the fact it could reverse stupidly fast... Other than that: I spent 15 minutes getting it to start :P Luckily the screen was noticing I was pushing buttons and carefully pressing the automatic gear lever and started blinking and gave me a graphical representation of what I had to do eventually :P . I nearly slammed a colleague's head through the front window though when we arrived at our destination and my driving lessons kicked for driving into a parking spot with a raised curb in front: I wanted to press the clutch pedal in. He had already taken off his seatbelt and well, there obviously wasn't a clutch :P.
Awesome video Cassie! Well done! I think having short range trucks like this run entirely on electric is a great combination. It's so cool, hope to see you review more trucks like this in the future.
Cool Cassie an a cool truck. We might be a long way off from elective trucks being the norm but I think they do have a place. Looks like you had fun test driving this truck to. 🙂🙂🙂🌞🌞🌞
Hi Cassie that was really cool. Of course is difficult for you to record your own video under these conditions but you did a great job. I picked up on when she mentioned Angelica too ……. Another of my favorite ladies with trucks. Love you two girls and also Iwona. It is wonderful to see all you ladies so successful in your profession. These electric trucks are going to be very beneficial for local deliveries and city driving and soon they will be advanced enough for longer haul too. It will be a great savings on fuel costs, maintenance and pollution.
This is the first step in electric trucks. It starts with the lighter (weight) ones. Sure, for the truck/trailer combination, the truck will need more power. But as time goes by, the batteries will handle that. I could tell from watching this video, that you had to get used to some things with this truck. The big difference, being the absence of real mirrors. Instead, you have camera's installed. But when got used to it, I think, it will be great. I am sure, the truck has a smooth ride. Anyway, thanks again, for this wonderful video from you. I look forward to watch the next one. Stay safe, Cassie.
Hi Cassie, Looks like you really enjoyed that little test drive, great video as usual, the test track was a bit scary, would not be so bad in a car, but a truck!!!!!!, thanks for sharing can't wait for the next one. Take Care Hun XXX
Cassie this video was great as always. A very good explanation. Honored that you were chosen to drive this truck. You are such a sweetheart and adorable young lady.💗💗💗💗💗😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍🚛🚛
A really interesting video Cassie. That Merc looked very easy to drive. I tested a Fuso Canter last Saturday at RTX, a commercial vehicle show in the UK. I was really impressed with it as it was the first electric vehicle I've ever driven. I was sceptical, just like you, but it did have mirrors tho!! I can't imagine how long, if ever, I would get used to them 😳. Looked like you enjoyed yourself, can't wait for your next video. Take care.
Oh boy, how much have I learned in this video, thank you so much I would love to give you half of what ..you have given to me.. love you, and keep on giving us tremendous information and knowledge..
That eActros was fast, I actually felt rather nervous when you put your foot down ! I know its the future, but I still prefer large, loud diesel engines !! So glad you had a good time Cassie !! XX
I agree with the lady, once you go electric, you never want to go back. Been driving electric myself for 3 years now (just the car, I'm not a truckdriver) and had to use a replacement car for 2 days last week. It was a car with a combustion engine and a manual gearbox. Was I happy when I could pick up my car again at the end of the second day.
Very nice video Cassie. I agree with some of your feelings and those trucks will work OK for distribution in Europe, but they will be almost useless from a range standpoint in the US because of its size and geography. I am an old food distribution guy and our routes were usually in the thousands of miles for food and other distribution. Also some of the trucks had 3 temperatures (Dry, Cool and frozen) first in last out which effects the time factors greatly. At any rate, Watch Pacar I predice they wil come out with something astoundind probably electric or Hydrogen fuel
But then there are many trucks that don’t go 50 miles from the warehouse. I remember seeing electric trucks back in the 50s that just ran from the docks to the warehouse.
@@richardcooke9948 Volvo already have trucks working in LA and SF in California doing the "1st Mile" job. They have chargers at the port and in the warehouse. I live in SW London, UK and my borough now has electric refuse trucks. They charge at the depot, and have V2G. They charge overnight, and some of the electricity is very cheap or a negative charge. The utility pays you to use your chargers! During the day some of the trucks are not used, so the utility gets to use them with V2G to do "peak shaving", ie flattening the peak curves. We also have new battery buses. I saw an interview with one of the fleet managers and he said that they had two reasons for going completely electric. One was the huge reduction on operating costs, and the other was V2G. They can charge at night, and then do V2G during the off peak periods during the day. Like the "1st mile" jobs, city buses have no issue with range. The London buses rarely go more than 35 to 40 miles between charges. The drivers love them because the power delivery and the one pedal driving is so smooth. One interesting thing is that the refuse trucks and at least one of the buses are made by Dennis, a very old British manufacturer, but using batteries and drive trains from BYD, and very new Chinese manufacturer. One the subject of Daimler, they and Volvo have started an independent company just to build their charging infrastructure in Europe. I believe other manufacturers have been invited to join. Hi cassie did you enjoy driving the ev truck 🚚 I have a ev suv I love it I drove it to thr British f1 I loved driving the ev I think it the future great video has always keep safe and well Rob 🇬🇧 😊
Nice truck. You are lucky to be able to drive it. I don't see electric trucks replacing diesel anytime soon, especially for heavy, long hauls in cold weather up mountains.
You are so pretty, I truly enjoy watching all of your videos. Wish you all the best and I can see your channel growing fast :) PS: Your videos are so much nicer than the Angelica Larsson's ones. :D
Hello Cassie. I think you'd get into it quickly. I haven't seen your face much, but I hear you're really enjoying it. As with everything else, with minor date differences, manufacturers tend to follow each other in improvements. By that I mean that you may have a SCANIA to work with. I can only compare forklifts, electric and diesel powered, as you said, more comfortable faster and quieter. And cleaner. It was another great experience for you. That's how you get more and more involved in truck driving. That was a great video. Have a nice week. 🚚❤👍😉
Wow cool truck! How diffrent that must have been driving there driving that truck. Also loo,s like you having wwy to much fun on those big banking turns 😂! Thatmpretty smile was showing 😊! Maybe you should be a race car driver
Väldigt härlig video och verkade trevlig hon som åkte med också, vart lite nervös och yr själv när du körde i den där loopen Kul också o få göra en sån här sak och se lite av vad framtiden har att erbjuda :)
The only bad thing about electric vehicles is "the battery charging process takes a long time" and the distance the vehicle walks is also less (we hope this will develop in the future)
Yeah I think it will develop pretty fast though! This is still the starting era of electric trucks and it can only improve form here. Can't wait to see what the future holds 😃
Cassie, I think the all electric truck might work great in the USA around major cities. But out west not so good. Mabe they can make one with a solar power panel that charges as the day happens.
This one here is fairly easy, but take a look at the "Gotland trip" videos where she drives a Gigaliner - _that_ is a good bit more difficult, especially when it comes to maneuvering backwards 😄
My scepticism is about charging stations. It takes 10x more time to charge an electric truck compared to a diesel truck. That would mean you need 10x more charging stations in order to not create long queues for every truck that wants to charge at the same time?
here in New Zealand where not looking at going to electric trucks instead of going to hydrogen trucks instead because of our very unique driving conditions.
Hi Cassie 😊 that looked like a nice truck, very quiet, do you think you would enjoy driving electric trucks full time ?. I suppose they are the future in cargo delivery, so we might as well get used to them, lol. Thanks for another interesting video, stay safe girl, best wishe's, Stuart Uk.
I think so yes! But it all depends on how fast the development goes. The company I work for has actually gotten an electric distribution truck, so we'll see if I get to drive it some day! 😃
Could you tell I'm not really used to recording in front of other people? 😁😂
I felt more comfortable as the day went by though, and I think it shows in the video aswell! 🥰

Cassie, I think the all electric truck might work great in the USA around major cities. But out west not so good. Mabe they can make one with a solar power panel that charges as the day happens.
Hello Cassie :) I have great respect for you because you driven a giant truck. It's probably not as easy as it seems
This one here is fairly easy, but take a look at the "Gotland trip" videos where she drives a Gigaliner - _that_ is a good bit more difficult, especially when it comes to maneuvering backwards 😄
Waww amazing I first time see the rechargeable truck and reached station
awesome Cassie
My scepticism is about charging stations. It takes 10x more time to charge an electric truck compared to a diesel truck. That would mean you need 10x more charging stations in order to not create long queues for every truck that wants to charge at the same time?
6:45 reminds me of an regular Counterweight truck
ive got to say i do love your videos even though I can just relate to it with just playing truckers of europe 3....hehehe....
brilliant Truck . They should do busses as well .

I love trucks.
here in New Zealand where not looking at going to electric trucks instead of going to hydrogen trucks instead because of our very unique driving conditions.
Parabéns 👏👏👏👍👍👍🚚🚚🚚👌👌🇧🇷
Hi Cassie 😊 that looked like a nice truck, very quiet, do you think you would enjoy driving electric trucks full time ?. I suppose they are the future in cargo delivery, so we might as well get used to them, lol. Thanks for another interesting video, stay safe girl, best wishe's, Stuart Uk.
I think so yes! But it all depends on how fast the development goes. The company I work for has actually gotten an electric distribution truck, so we'll see if I get to drive it some day! 😃
good good Cassie👍 The truck runs on power only ؟
already seen on the road in Taiwan, Fabulous!
