2012 and up Honda CR-V water leak fix. Spare tire well leak solution.

This applies to most Crv Honda with leaks in spare tire wells.
You can also use compressed air cans or close all windows, doors and put the heater or vent on full speed and spray some soapy water in that general area.

Thanks for the video. I've got a 2015 i just bought and its leaking into the wheel well. I can see the stream on the left side bottom corner. I guess i need to do like you and take the trim and tail light housings off to see where its coming from.

And, would a regular mechanic be able to handle this job or would it require the skills of a body shop technician?

i would say a body shop would charge 400-600 for something like this.

I had the same issue... I think this is a manufacturing disaster, you as owner almost have to reseal the whole F****** car !!!
