Yeah, I’m stuck with a screamer. She’s really sweet though, wouldn’t give her up for the world.

They are omnivores, not insectivores. Their label has changed.

I know they're cute but is it okay to have hedgehogs as pets where they're basically a living ball of spikes?

@@emxllue not true, maybe you are alergic. it's not hard to bond with them, or, i should say, if you managed to bond with a hamster (whom are also nocturnal), then you'll be perfectly fine bonding with a hedgehog. Some people just don't get them. For example, i bonded with mine in ten days of having an hour of play time with him at a fixed 8pm time every day, which, for an adult it's perfect in my opinion (you can leave him what he might need during the day, clean the poop out in the morning, and have an hour of chilling and bonding each day. now, for a kid, i do not recomend (in general). My best friend also bonded quite easily with him in just two visits. while my family just had the hardest time dropping their egos and going at his pace ;they wouldn't, for example, take their time to let him sniff their hand, specifically their palm. they would either insist on touching him, doing "clicky" noises, basically treating him like a dog who already knows you, which is wrong in more ways than one. So yeah, i love mine, and he is as docile as a pillow after our bonding

I don't think it's necessary to stress it out over and over again to prove a point.

Was thinking the exact same. If you got one, you will realize everything they mention on the video, and more, while just going at his pace.
At first they'll huff and ball up just from the change in scenery, so there is no need to stress it even further
