Hi John. Happy New Year 2025. Sure have missed your landscape videos this year. I especially loved the series of you working on a family member's yard. You put so much work into it and I always wanted to see how it turned out a year later. I'm not so interested in garden equipment or firewood but I'd still watch them but I really miss your gardening and landscaping videos!
Thanks for checking in Lindsey. It's tough because it seems like the mainstream viewer on TH-cam wants to watch people getting the job done quickly more than doing the job right. I prefer to do the job right. The shrubs all grew in wonderfully on that job. Including the holly on the right side of the front steps. I wasn't sure that one was going to make it. I filmed some pruning videos this fall and am debating publishing the videos or waiting for new growth to come in the spring bwefore publishing. If we have a cold spell or heavy snow cover I will most likely publish the videos this winter. Thanks for checking in and letting me know there are people out there interested in the gardening videos.
Another great video that well informs John. Thank you. I especially welcome your thoughts on more communities are looking to explore electric only for small engine equipment.
That day is coming sooner than we realize. I am seeing battery-powered options more and more at the dealers, and after having tried them, I can say they are lighter, quieter, less vibration and are better all around, except for some tasks that require more power.
As a commercial business owner and as a Golf Course Superintendent for 2 decades. Its not the motor necessarily causing the issue with noise in general. Iget the pollution aspect of it too but as you described that whining sound really travels and that doesnt go away with battery units. I use both and to me the battery ones are far more annoying than the gas ones with that high pitched whine. Some are just as loud from a decibel standpoint as a comparable gas unit. To my ears strin g trimmers and especially gas chain saws are far more annoying than a blower. This madness needs to stop. 😂
The whine of battery equipment is really annoying. I use Husqvarna battery stuff and always use low power mode to keep the noise down. I hope they find a way to tune out the high pitched whine in battery stuff or it's going to be a difficult transition.
Hello. Here's the Problem ? The Yard Service , Blowers The Parking LOT and The Leafs. (We Lease Our Unit) Every Body get`s A Screen Porch full of Dirt Dust. They Still Make Leaf Vacuums it`s like a Mower/with a Big BAG We Used Those growing Up . I don`t know when The Blower thing started in many case`s it Rude , People blows one yard onto the next one. Can You Help Me Understand This .
Haven't seen anything about this blower, glad to see one around now. My favorite feature is the air it throws on your back.
I hadn't either, so I took the time to review it. I like the air on the back too! It seemed like a gimmick but it's very coool.

Thanks Mark. Enjoying a beautiful fall here.
Good to see you post a video, don't get a echo 9010 it sounds Like a 2 cycle dirt bike.
I hear ya!
John nice vid. But I discovered Ted Nugent in the mid 70', too loud is not any problem now.

I'm providing a hand raking service at 6x the normal price. Maybe noise doesn't matter so much huh?
I got my start in the business hand raking lawns. It beat whatever minimum wage was at the time.
