Hi, can I use the streambar just as a speaker to my TV? I want to use my TV's built-in smart system and use the streambar just for the sound, this way can I use the TV's remote to control the volumn on the streambar? My TV has HDMI ARC.
Hi. Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, no you cannot connect the streambar directly to your headphones. The closest you can get to doing this is with the Roku app on your Smartphone. You can stream audio to your headphones through the Roku app on your phone. That's the only way I know of.
My roku streambar goes back to home screen everytime i change tv inputs. I switch between roku and Dishnet often and always have to reload when switching back to roku. Have tried all CEC settings and cant find a fix. Any help?
Hola, tambien manda audio por el HDMI? Quisiera usarlo como ayuda para mi televisión, que se escuchen los dos al mismo tiempo, y reproduce videos desde una memoria usb?
I was wondering if you knew how to set up the soundbar directly to a Monitor? My monitor has many inputs and does have HDMI but it is not HDMI Arc. I think someone says it will works. My monitor also has internal speakers. Any help you would be appreciated you seem to know so much about this stuff
Yea just do exactly what I did. You can watch my first video on the streambar. And you'll see that I'm also working with a monitor!! The video is titled "unboxing setup and sound test". Good luck, let me know if it worked for you!
If you use the night audio mode or level the audio will in sync usually if u hit the * button and change audio setting from night mode it will fix sometimes you gotta restart roku
Hey I’m thinking of buying the sound bar as I already have a ROKU TV and it would be easier just wondering can the stream bar connect to a record player to play the sound? If I buy a RCA to Optical cable?
I'm not sure. Mainly because I haven't found a way to manually select optical sound only. Just to play it safe, if I was in your situation I'd connect it through Bluetooth instead using something like this www.dell.com/en-us/shop/logitech-bluetooth-audio-adapter-wireless-streaming/apd/a7709785/audio . Only because I know Bluetooth audio can be selected manually. I hope this helps.
If your room is small and your TV has ARC then yes there's a good chance sound will improve. But this small sound bar won't fill a large room. Yes it can get loud but the sounds won't be as pleasant as a larger sound bar.
@@dolphman85 ah so it is also just a soundbar I was a bit concerned at first if it was just for streaming. I do have the speakers already I just wanna add a sound bar for more bass. My apartment is perfect for it then my speakers sound really loud as is but I do want to add a soundbar so I might just purchase this today :) thank you
I appreciate your efforts here. But, you can do all of this on an Android as well as far as I can tell. And, the advantage of that is that you're not a prisoner of the Apple ecosystem. Instead of AirPlay, it's called Smart View on an Android device. Android has the same remote capability on the phone as well as the capabilitie of the individual apps. There is one thing that Apple has that Android doesn't have. You didn't show it on this video. It is multiview where you can stream several services on one screen. That does require an Apple device. Again I appreciate your efforts here.
Best ROKU video on the web! Well done.
We’re about to get a Roku Streambar Pro and wanted to know about the features. Thank you for the clear information without the unnecessary commentary.
Very helpful. Well done.

I push microphone and say "Battery Test" and it will show you the percentage at the top right.
That's pretty clever. It never occurred to me to try that!
This is very useful. Thank you for your time.
Thank you so much. I'm beyond glad I could help!
Hello first of all great video but I have a question , can you connect bluetooth headphones to the sound bar directly ?

did you have any lip-sync problems with the bar
No that hasn't been an issue for me. Is that a known problem with the soundbar?
If you use the night audio mode or level the audio will in sync usually if u hit the * button and change audio setting from night mode it will fix sometimes you gotta restart roku

No I don’t know the reason it’s on, but you can turn it off in the settings.
Can you download torrents and bypass all the streaming apps and still airplay to the roku?
anyone knows how to connect Roku Streambar to an ethernet? I have an adapter plugged in the back of the streambar and it is not working.
