I took the flash drive out when it restarted and was back on the main menu when it asks what language and OS do you want to install, clicked the X button and restarted the PC, it worked
when i removed the usb and rebooted my pc, it says no bootable devices. i tried reinstalling windows 10 on an ssd and an hdd. both had the same problem

I was thinking that since I don’t have an install disk and didn’t know much about the installation of windows 10, (since I’m used to having an install disc for Win 7/8) I needed to look at your other video that explains how to do it with an iso file but after watching this, I think THIS is the easiest and fastest way to do it! To reboot everything with a fresh usb install since it’s fasterI have plenty of USB devices laying around. Making an iso file is a little more complicated so I think this is the smarter choice for me and anyone else looking for something not complicated at all! Thanks so much for your help brother!

Alec, ha ha, that is what I am doing tonight with my old laptop. I haven't touched it since October 2019. It crashed and I never could get it running again. Today I bought a new copy of WIN 10 and it is being installed right now and this video helped. I didn't want to spent $500 to $1000 or more on another laptop so buying WIN 10 is the cheap route and it works. I am doing a 100% clean install.
Everything worked fine for me, I would advise to take out the USB once the installation has has completed and the pc is about to reboot. Then it should go through and complete the walk through setup. Once done revert your bios changes so it’s back to the default boot settings.
I am a beginner on how to install windows on PC, but from this video I have just watch, it will take me through, thank you very much for your patience and time.

Miguel, thanks for the instructional video. The problems I encountered earlier today happened @ 4:00 with the partitions. My old HD has four partitions and I wasn't sure what to do. I bought a new WIN 10 and it stopped at this point, so I deleted all four partitions. After I deleted all four partitions, the installation of my new WIN 10 is now getting installed. Thanks big time!
For anyone who’s struggling, once you get to the 4th check mark and it’s about to reboot, unplug the usb, and don’t touch anything still. Then add product key and setup with Siris cousin Cortana

4:02 can install even with a previous OS on the drive 4:04 in the video shows that You’re gonna need to wipe all partitions on the drive anyway So it doesn’t matter if you ahve stuff on drive or not You’re gonna wipe it either way 4:50 says windows can’t be installed on an unformatted drive 4:40 when you click next it’s going to auto format either way 5:20 during installation process Windows will restart many times If it shows a screen asking you to press any key to boot from cd or dvd DONT PRESS anything

Pro tip- make sure to set bios bootup to your hard drive so it can boot up when it restarts, also unplug usb as soon as it says its gonna restart when installing windows!!!
I have spent the last 8h trying to install Windows on my brand new PC to no avail. It freezes at various points in time - either on BIOS screen, or right after selecting keyboard/language, or at Setup is starting screen or right after selecting the drive. Out of like 150 restarts, I was only able to get to installation screen 3 times. Once it got stuck at Copying Files 31%, once at Preparing files 8% and once at Copying Files 0%. I have never had problems like this before and I dunno what the problem might be.

I believe I just powered off my computer and tried from the start again but be careful because I am NOT sure that this is exactly what happened and I dont know if its dangerous. Always take a system image backup into a usb drive or something. No need to download whole windows 10 and then install.

@@adamdaniel01 i did manage to get it working but I don't remember exactly how. I believe I just powered off my computer and tried from the start again but be careful because I am NOT sure that this is exactly what happened and I dont know if its dangerous. On the second attempt though it did work fine.
